Two days have passed and Ikari has managed to get over the shock of flying and has even managed to train her pokemon to almost double their previous power. “Somatra use shadow ball!” commanded Ikari pointing at a rock in front of her. Somatra charged up and fired off a shadow ball that turned the rock into rubble. “That was great!” exclaimed Ikari hugging her silver colored Eevee. “I think that’s good for now” said Ikari putting Somatra down. “Dour!” called Chigaru running over to Ikari. “Whatcha got there Chigaru?” asked Ikari putting her hand out. Chigaru dropped a fire stone into his trainer’s hands and sat down very proudly. “Good job Chigaru” praised Ikari scratching Chigaru under the chin. Ikari had been looking for a fire stone to evolve Paytah into a Ninetails. “We’ll use this when you’re ready” said Ikari showing Paytah. Ikari returned all of her pokemon to their pokeballs before her and Jolt headed back into the city. “Okay the plan is to get dinner, a good nights’ sleep, and then tomorrow we challenge the gym leader!” said Ikari confidently. “Pichu, chu, pi” said Jolt. Ikari’s face became pale instantly. “You didn’t have to remind me!” shouted Ikari. Jolt had brought up the issue of getting to Snowpoint City. Ikari knew that she would have to use Okami to get there. Ikari felt a knot in her throat come up and her fear of flying came back. “We’ll worry about it when we get to it” Ikari said quietly. “Oh, so your back from training Ikari” said Nurse Joy taking my tray of pokeballs. “Yep” said Ikari. “So you’re challenging Byron tomorrow aren’t you” said Nurse Joy. “Yep” said Ikari getting distracted from the conversation. “Here you go” said Nurse Joy giving Ikari back her pokemon. Ikari took her pokemon and picked up Jolt and headed to the dining room in the pokemon center.
“Okay, lets see” said Kyoshi looking at the list of chores left by Ammy. Kyoshi sighed as he began hauling bags of pokemon food outside. “Okay! Come and get it!” yells Kyoshi. Pokemon from all over the lab property start to appear and begin to chow down on the pokefood. “Okay Chitter, take the empty bags and put them in the trash” said Kyoshi to the Chatot that Ikari sent him. “SQUAWK… in the trash… SQUAWK!” repeated Chitter grabbing the bags in his mouth. Rika came around back and checked in on Solana at her end. Solana’s job was to make sure the mail and e-mails don’t pile up on Ammy. “Ikari sent another pokemon” said Solana taking out a pokeball. “Well what is it?” asked Kyoshi coming in behind Rika. Solana let out the new arrival. “Ditto” said the little purple blob. “It’s a Ditto” said Solana picking it up. “Ikari named it Goo…” added Solana. Kyoshi quickly lost interest and went back outside. “Was it something we said” muttered Rika and Solana.
