• Hero of a forgotten time,
    Ordinary, yet sublime
“From where do you come?” one may ask.
To answer this is no simple task.

To the asker the youth replies:
"I am the last of a bygone era,
Who was thrust into this world of lies.
No longer recognizable, this world once called Terra.
The azure heavens are now ruddied skies."

"I must return to the land of yore,
Of fleeting mention in the most ancient lore.
I will return the world to its proper form.
What is now forgotten must become the norm."

Though the youth is correct, something must be done,
How will he return to the land warmed under the sun?
The magicks of old are lost to time,
And the bells of opportunity have yet to chime.

But wait! There is a way! The advent of science holds the key.
Ironically it was what soured the earth,
But its proper use is what will set man free.
"A method to travel back before evil's birth,
Is what technology has provided for me."

Thus the youth makes haste and returns to his land,
And fights the evil which is both horrid and grand.
    In the end, he succeeds,
Vanquishing that beast of foul deeds.

The youth is a hero, celebrated by all,
Remembered for ages as the boy who saved mankind
Even after his death his impact is tall—
The world avoided evil’s powerful bind.
