• "No, can't be!" I accidentally thought aloud. Eichi-san looked at me like I was crazy. "What? What is it?!" He asked. "Well... you wouldn't understand." I mumbled. Eichi-san opened his mouth to talk, but I put my finger over his mouth. "Think what you say, and I'll reply via mind." I whispered. I'll believe you, new girl! He thought. I... I'm flustered! You'll really believe me?! I thought back.

Hey, we both read minds! Eichi-san thought. Eichi... san, how did you find out? You won't tell anyone, right?! I thought. "Dude, talk to her! Don't just stare at her!" One of his friends laughed. Eichi-san angrily spun around, his short black hair flowing with him. His brown eyes flickered with frustration. "Guys, you know my secret! She can do it too!" He flamed. I got in a panic as Eichi-san turned back to me.

I love you! I thought. I didn't know what to do. Eichi-san looked surprised, then calm. He smiled, his pale hand touching mine. "Me too," he whispered. I put my arms over his shoulders and leaned in. I closed my eyes, but his were wide open. He didn't know what to do, so he kissed me as I planned to do. I heard his friends laughing. I opened my eyes and his friends stopped laughing.

"Well, that was awkward... and fun!" Eichi-san announced. "Yeah, even though we got teased by your friends." I said. He looked worried for a second, but then kept on smiling. He kicked my shoe so I kicked his shoe back. We both broke into laughter. Lunch was almost over, but we decided to stay in the Lunchroom. That was my first kiss. Eichi-san thought. I grinned. "Me too." I said. One of the guys in Eichi-san's posse started tittering. "Jack, shut up!" Eichi-san screamed.
