------We're standing at the beach. I can hear soft sounds of the waves crashing into the distance. The smell of the ocean air fills my lungs but I can barely breathe. This is where we met a couple months ago and now I'm standing alone staring into the blue horizon. I walk closer to the waters, barefoot, holding my shoes on my right hand. The water touches my ankles. It's cold but everything feels colder as of lately.

------"I'm don't know if I'm worth all this trouble for you," I remember you telling me. I'm living in a memory.

------A critical moment approaches, but I choose my words incorrectly. I wanted to hold your hand there and maybe wrap my fingers around yours but the ghosts of my past haunts me. I don't want to make the past mistakes I've done and, partially I don't think you felt the same way. I'm older now and I've learned to let logic choose my path rather than my emotions deciding for me. It's not logical for you and I. So I'm letting go, slowly and painfully.

------I phase back into reality. The beach is full of people now, people laughing, swimming and, sunbathing. You walk beside me. Our friends are already in the waters. I'm still staring into the horizon so you popped into my view.

------"Hey what's wrong?" You ask me.

------"Huh? I'm fine," I smile at you.

------"You sure?" You pout and crossed your arms, "You seem sad as of lately."

------I look down at the sand underneath our feet, think for a while and look back up to you. "I'm fine really," I lie.

------"Yeah okay. You know I'm here for you right?"

------"I know thank you. I appreciate you."

------You pat me on the shoulder and lightly smile, before running into the waters to our friends.

------I turn around and start walking away. I wonder whose memories are these. Thanks for reading, This is Anikacy signing out.
