The Weekly Rant LXXVI -south park and "immorality"
SURPRISE! This isn't a rant on south park, but a rant about some of those who watch it.
For those who do not know, south park is a ridiculouos cartoon show revovling around 4 young boys with weird voices. Usually, the episodes are based around a rip-off plot from a movie or taking something MUCH more seriously than they should, making mountains of mole hills. Things escalate into calamity up until one of them steps forward in the madness and starts a little speech with "I've learned something today..." And kenny dies. Every time. The bastards.
Now, onto the rant. People think south park is "stupid, immoral, inappropriate, ect ect." It very well may be, but I wonder; why don't things like MTV get this kind of hatred?
The entire nation of russia has banned south park, but I know of no such place that discriminates against a channel of brainless, half naked teenager screaming "woo" at the top of their lungs. Odd? Yes, espcially considering that towards the end of nearly every south park episode, they work in a big life lesson, emphasized and signaled by the "I learned something today."
What. The. Farce. MTV has no life lessons, no wisdom, no overall message, just a bunch of idiots with misguided ideas of "love". I've already ranted about that channel, so I'll stop it right there, but with south park, in all of it's ridiculousness, there's always a moral, whether it's blatantly stated or not. MTV's only morals are love not lust and wear a condom--NO, BAD, stop ranting on that channel!
*ahem* South park, a show meant to just be funny anyway, gives wisdom along with laughs most of the time, so why does it have the hater bandwagon? I'll put this simply, if you don't like it, or anything you're NOT FORCED TO WATCH, (F#%^ing idiots) DON'T F$@%ING WATCH IT, DUMBASS. That way you can enjoy your real source of "immoral" bulls^#t, and others can enjoy decent programming.
BOTTOM LINE: If south park is so bad, why should american pie movies and the like be accepted?
