It's summer, summer is the time when global warming doesn't seem like a joke anymore, the floozies take their clothes off yet still get angry when people stare, and the bugs that thawed out in spring start looking for new places to loiter about. One of these places may be a house inhabited by humans. I have no problem with nature, it produces food and s!#t and it's kind of pretty to look at sometimes. Like a cousin you only see on holidays, I develop issues with it when it tries to enter my house and start colonizing. (I don't have such relatives, but still)

If your home has windows or a door that isn't cemented shut early to keep the undead at bay a few years from now, chances are good an insect has managed to enter the building. When you see a bug in your house, do you think of anything besides it's gruesome death? Maybe you're one of the kind-hearted few that just picks it up and tosses it outside where it should be, maybe you're the kind of screamy, psychotic schoolgirl that firmly believes insects are the source of all evil and should be flattened on sight, but either way you don't let the bastards stay if you can help it.

Everything needs a habitat somewhere to live, I can understand that, but the thing that pisses me off about bugs is that they seem to think everywhere is their habitat and freely come into our homes buzzing about like they own the place. You know how if you bother an anthill or a beehive they come out angry that their living place was disturbed? Humans are similar in this field, but insects are too thick to get that, and hive insects are even worse. (I know they can't hear me, but it's a rant, so here goes) Bees, ants, etc., why is it that it's wrong when someone enters your home, but it's ok when you do it? You expect people to let you go around invading their hills/hives? F#%K. YOU. You self-righteous, inbred, little bastards need to be fumigated from the face of the earth and have nasty things written of you in history books!

BOTTOM LINE: Nature should stay in nature, you don't see a lot of non-hobo/non-hippie humans living in the woods, do you?
