Ok, sticking with tradition, I'm doing a rant about the recent holiday AFTER the holiday, here we go.

What's the big deal about new years? The calander has reached it's end, we replace it, and move on. For some people, it's an excuse to get drunk, go to parties, drink more, and do things they'd regret, and blame anyone else the next morning if they didn't die doing something stupid. "It's not my fault, I was drunk!" don't drink, f#%@er. "my friends should have stopped me!" they were drinking too. "but it's new years!" And? There is no excuse to inebriate yourself.

We're switching the last number in the date, who cares? Do you people do this on arbor day, marting luther king day, or at the end of each month? Is it because it's only once a year? So are the other holidays. In fact, every day only comes once a year. There is only one august 3rd in a year, there's only one february 8th, who gives a damn? If your excuse is that it only comes once a year, you should celebrate EVERY DAY, increasing your chances of death 365 fold.

BOTTOM LINE: If you're going to celebrate something silly, at least do it sober.
