• Order 66 had been carried out, the force rippled across the universe as thousands of Jedi faced slaughter from their clone troopers.
Anakin Skywalker, a once great Jedi Warrior had fallen to the dark side and rose as the Sith Lord known as Darth Vader. After receiving his title of Sith Lord he marched to the Jedi temple with the 501st Legion and slaughtered what Jedi remained on Coruscant, be it younglings or masters.
After the destruction of his long time home and sanctuary, Darth Vader set out to Mustafar to destroy the hiding Nute Gunroy and other separatist leaders to put an end to the war and bring peace to the galaxy.
With the Clone Wars ended and a new regime taking over the Galaxy, Vader believed that he may finally be at peace with his one true love Padme Amidala.
Though, upon betraying the Jedi order, Vader's old master Obi-wan Kenobi was set out to try and save Anakin, or destroy him. He stowed away on Padme's ship to Mustafar and confronted Vader
Anakin had felt that Padme betrayed him to Obi-wan and the Jedi. In anger Vader force choked his pregnant wife. She fell unconscious and a great battle ensued between the Vader and Obi-wan.
Exhaustion rattled both of the great warriors as they fought, neither able to best the other. Finally, Obi-wan had gained some leverage over Vader. He begged Vader to come back to the light side, come back to the Jedi. Vader had sneered at this comment and attacked Obi-wan one last time. In a flash Obi-wan had severed both of Vader's legs and his remaining arm. Obi-wan, in tears picked up Vader's light saber and hooked it to his belt clip. He turned and faced Vader.
"How could you Anakin?" Obi-wan yelled to his former Padawon, "You were supposed to destroy the Sith! Not Join them! I Loved You Anakin, you were like a brother to me!"
Vader's eyes blazed red with fury as the dark side completely consumed him, "I HATE YOU!" He screamed as he attempted to climb up the super heated ash near a river of lava were he had fallen. "I HATE YOU!" Screams of pain then riddled Obi-wan's ears, they hurt more than Vader's words of hate. He watched as Vader's body burst into flame and washed over his torn body. Finally, the pain overtook Obi-wan, and he turned, unable to watch the death of his once beloved friend and brother.
Obi-wan had believed that Vader had died in the hell of Mustafar, he could never had known that Senator Palpatine, now revealed as Darth Sidious and Ruler of the New Galactic Empire, would come to Vader's aid. After finding his new Sith apprentice alive Sidious took him aboard his ship and began the surgery to save his apprentices life began.
Vader's severely burned body was incased in a cool black armor, his limbs replaced by mechanical arms and legs. Agony filled him with every breathe and with the tiniest movement. His mind twisted ever more with the Dark Side of the Force. Now, a mere shadow of the great Jedi that he once was, Vader lived his life in constant torment. Anger and despair fueled him as he Brought the destruction the Grand Republic.
Shortly after the New Galactic Empire had been established, Vader had begun to finish what the clone troopers could not complete with Order 66 and began the Great Jedi Purge, the total destruction of every Jedi and the galaxy. Though broken and not nearly as strong as he once was in the force, he killed hundreds more Jedi. Some hid, and survived, most fought, and died.
Most of the Jedi who fled sought after solitude and a time to rise again. Others seemed to forget their Jedi ways and tried to live normal lives with families and work. They fell into the mundane life of ordinary people, constantly looking over their shoulders for the hunters that tirelessly scoured the universe for them.
One Jedi though, has her own story. She had survived order 66 by bringing a swift death to the clones that had followed her command for nearly two years. Tears fell from her eyes as she let herself fall into the pain of loss. Slowly she lifted the helmet still holding the head of her most trusted trooper and best friend Rex. Who had once been commander of the Torrent Company of Anakin's 501st Legion. But Upon Anakin's request transferred to Ahsoka's Troops so to 'keep an eye on Ahsoka.'
Ahsoka placed her forehead against the cool plasti-steal helmet and screamed at the top of her lungs, her shrill voice cutting through the air.
After a period of morning she removed Rex's head from the helmet and placed it near his body. She then burnt the bodies of he troopers and fled the planet.
Once in her ship she tried contacting all the Jedi masters, only two replied, Obi-wan Kenobi, and Yoda. They had both advised her to run and hide. That the Republic had fallen and the Sith had won. She did as they told and fled to her home world of Shili where she would stay in seclusion in the large lush forests that her species tended to stay away from. It is there that she stayed for three years. During which time she trained her body and spirit deeper in the force. She had learned to live on the land and help her fellow Togrutan's in secret.
That is, until she had seen a group of troopers attack a nearby village. Without thought she began to attack the troopers. Fury filled her every thought as she felt the dull resistance of the bodies being cut by her lightsaber. Blaster bolts cut through the air which she deflected with ease back at the clones.
Within a short period all of the troopers fell as did her fury. As Ahsoka stood to catch her breath she felt a small disruption in the force. She turned to see a rock being hurled toward her by a young male Togrutan. Anger filled his face and the face of those around him.
"Leave here Jedi!" He bellowed as he threw another rock.
Anger filled her once more. "But I helped you!"
"No!" Replied an elder Togrutan who had stepped forward. "You have only made our doom certain, the Dark Lord knows now that a Jedi is among us, now he will have us destroyed!"
Another rock pelted towards Ahsoka, and then another, this time hitting her hard in the arm. She yelped as the rest of the village began to pick up stones to throw at her.
"Leave the village now! Leave us in peace from you and your war like ways!" The elder bellowed at her as she ran. They chased her all the way back to her forest, stones continued to fly as even as she entered the thick branches of the large trees. Sobbing, tired, and very sore, she entered her ship again and left the system.
She had traveled the galaxy for many weeks, and was beginning to succumb to exhaustion. With such a hasty retreat from the Shili system she was unable to stock supplies and was now feeling the consequences. She had finally began to think that her life was close to an end. She closed her eyes and awaited the darkness to come around her.
Upon opening her eyes once more she found that she was still alive. And bound within a small cell. She tried to move her arm but realized she was strapped to a hard metal bed. She took a few deep breathes and closed her eyes once again letting the force feel its way around her. She sensed hundreds of dull life's around her. It was then that she realized she was being held captive in a Sith Cruiser
She had spent a month on the vessel, having been found drifting through space barely alive. They had captured her ship and taken her prisoner. The Troopers had delighted in the tormenting of the young Jedi. Everyday more troopers would enter her cell and beat her or burn her with small plasma cutters. Some would even use there vibro-blades causing long deep incisions on her arms and legs, one of them in fury even slashed the side of her face. Blood splashed the walls in the clones attempts to get the information from her that they desired. But she would resist, because she knew, one day, she would escape. Even by death if she must.
Ahsoka had endured four months of the Clones torture before they made a mistake. One of them had entered the cell with her lightsaber. He jabbed at her face with the hilt causing dried blood to flake off and fall to the floor. Ahsoka's eyes narrowed and the igniter on her lightsaber switched on, puncturing the trooper through the chest and killing him instantly.
Using the force she guided the saber and cut the bindings that held her in place. She then fell to the floor uninhibited by the restraints her weakened muscles could not at first hold her weight.
With some effort Ahsoka finally stood. Her knees trembled under her weight but she remained standing. She knew that she had to escape the ship. Where she would run to was yet unknown, even if she found death it would be better than her daily hell with the clone troopers.
After tapping the panel on the wall the door opened quickly in front of her. Instantly she felt a sharp burning pain on her side. She hadn't even heard the shot of the blaster, but heard the second shot as another searing pain fell through her body. She screamed in agony and ran at the trooper firing on her. Her muscles seemed on fire with agony nearly as sever as the deep wounds that the blaster had caused. She had reflected the next blaster bolt back to the trooper, before he fell she removed his head with a singular quick movement.
Ahsoka left the body where it fell and ran through the ships halls desperately looking for the docking bay. Finally she had found it, and her ship was still inside. It did not appear to had been altered. She threw open the cockpit and a sigh of relief fell over her as she had seen that Rex's helmet remained in the ship.
Quickly she turned on the instrument panels and switched the ship on. A hum filled the hanger as it powered up. She knew that she would have to make the retreat quickly otherwise she would be caught and shot down before she could even make the jump into hyperspace.
Knowing where she should go Ahsoka typed hyperspace codes onto the panel. She would jump the moment after leaving the ships own barrier. Pushing the thrusters to max she burst from the side of the Sith Vessel and was happy to be rid of it.
She pushed one final key on the panel and her ship ripped into hyperspace leaving the horror behind her.
Ahsoka's destination was the Outer Rim, near spice trade routes where smugglers often passed. It took only a few hours before a large containment ship came into view. It was an old ship but appeared well maintained. And Judging by the tribal like markings painted on the side of the hull, it was Mandalorian. Ahsoka knew in the force that this would be her ride.
