• I shook my head and put on a blank expression "Your name's Titan, right?" I asked. He nodded his head " Yes." he said, smiling shyly. "A werewolf came by last night to get you." I said. "I know" he said and looked away. I turned back towards the small river stream "It really doesn't matter to me" I said. I heard something swishing through air, I knew it was his tail. He came into the corner of my eye and asked "So you won't rat me out?" his eyes sparkling. I shook my head "No. Do what you want, I don't really care" I told him. I tried to skid the rock on water, but failed, again. I let out a sigh and felt someone kneel down next to me. "You have flick your wrist and your rock has to have a smooth surface." Titan said. He did it then I watched the rock bounce off the water surface once, twice, three times. "Here" he gave me a rock with a smooth surface and showed me how to flick my wrist. "No, no, no. Like th-" Titan took hold of my hand, it sent waves of electricity all throughout my body. I could tell Titan felt it too, his eyes were wide. I pulled away, flicked my wrist, and let go of the rock. It bounced on the water once, twice, three, four, five times. "Wow!" Titan said "New all time record" he put on a goofy childish grin. I looked down at the rock covered floor, blushed and said quietly "Thank you, Titan" His wolf ears turned toward me "Sorry, didn't catch that" he said and looked at me. I looked up at him and he put on sort of wide eyes, lips parted, and blush covering most of his face when I said "Thank you! Titan." I sat back off my heels, on my butt, and sighed. "It takes that much out of you to say 'thank you'?" he said, chuckling. "No! I'm just tired from skidding rocks all day!" I said. We both laughed. I heard rustling through the trees. I grabbed Titan by his shirt and dragged him behind a bush a couple feet away. "What-" Titan tried to say, but I covered his mouth with my hand and pointed to a hole in the bush the showed the other side. Titan tensed as we watched two werewolves inspect the spot my and Titan were just sitting. "I smell him" said the gray werewolf, in werewolf form. The other one was the werewolf I met before in half-way form. "I smell the sent of a vampire too" said the gray one. The brown one looked at the gray one "Hunter, we're inside vampire territory, of course you smell vampires." The gray one, Hunter, shook his head "No, Morgead, the smells are blended together, a vampire and Titan were here together" he said. I stood up "What are you doing here!?" I commanded. Both turned to look at me. "Go get your leader, little girl, then we'll-. What?" Hunter said but Morgead whispered something to him. Hunter's eyes widened, his mouth fell open, and he stared at me. "Your the leader?" he asked, pointing at me. I nodded. Scince Hunter was basically frozen, Morgead explained "We can't wait any longer. You see, Titan is of royal blood. He has the ability of immortality, like a vampire. So, we must have him back. Do you know where he is?" he asked, almost pleadingly. Titan grabbed my ankle, and squeazed hard. Then a thought occurred to me "Why am a helping a werewolf? His kind killed my family! But, Titan isn't like the other werewolves I've met. He's kind and goofy, he's fun and childish." I looked at Morgead and said "I can honestly say, I have not seen your kind around here" Morgead nodded "Well, I thank you your help.... useless vampire" he said under his breath. He took hunter and left. Titan stood up and stared at me. "Thank you" he said. I smiled a bit "No problem" I said and walked away.
