• Tsa watched from beneath his black hood that covered most of his face. Haven/Leslie was listening to her i-pod. He could tell it was colored with a Sharpie.
Haven's bright pink bangs flew into her eyes, but she left them there. Her favorite song was playing, Zombie by the Cranberries, and her head went up and down to the beat.
Tsa couldn't believe it. She was going to die. Everyone died at some point, but he couldn't stand to lose someone important. Again.

    Flashback:

Tsa walked down a dusty road path to Athens. Adelpha would meet him in Aphrodite's temple. Tsa knew the Greek gods weren't real, but she did so he pretended.
He walked into the temple with a bright smile on his face. His white toga swirled around his legs as he took in the scene before him.
Adelpha was on the floor. Dead.
He ran to her side. Adelpha's black hair was around her like a beautiful waterfall.
"Adelpha!" he cried. "Wake." he begged. Silent tears fell on her chest where her heart beat no more.
Jura appeared by him. "Everyone dies, Tsa." she whispered.
"You killed her!" he raged. He stood, and curled his hands into angry fists.
"You were getting too attached." Jura said simply as if it was no deal.
"Adelpha won't be going to Hell." he swore. "She will be respected more than you ever will be."
    "That is not your choice."
    "It can be."
"You are a new Orb." she reminded him.
"I care not!" he picked Adelpha up into his muscular arms.
"She is mine to judge." Jura said.
"Not anymore." he then vanished into the shadows with the shell of what was once Adelpha.
He placed her body into a river. It was like Styx, but different. He placed her body in it, and went to search for Adelpha's soul.
There she was. Kneeling in front of Jura.
"Lady Hera," Adelpha started. "I promise all my soul to you."
Jura looked up, saw Tsa, and smiled.
Adelpha turned and glared at him. "Why didn't you tell me you are Hades?!" then she gasped, and fell to her knees.
"I am sorry Lord Hades! It was not my place!" she started to weep.
Tsa just turned, and was consumed into the shadows.

To remember that memory was painful for Tsa, but he held his ground.
Haven looked furiously at a strange girl dressed in a poofy, pink dress who was walking passed her.
Haven saw Tsa, stood up, and walked to him. "What are you dong? Stalking me?" she was grabbing at her black sleeve trying to cover her hand entirely.
    "No," he answered.
She looked expectantly at him. "What are you doing here?" her eyes demanded an answer.
"Nothing." he walked away feeling her eyes boring into his back, but he didn't turn.

    A month later:

Tsa walked down the sidewalk then it hit him. Tonight was the night Haven was set to die.
He had never run that fast before in his life. Not when he had seen Adelpha lying dead on the floor. Not when Jura's demons were chasing him down because she had chosen him to become Death. Never in his life.
He sensed when it had started. The pain wasn't his but he couldn't be rid of it. His head. There was a flash, and he was in his immortal body again.
    Haven was gone.
He became a shadow once more, and went to receive her.
His shadow travel only worked when he had to retrieve a soul.
There was Haven's soul. Standing above her body. Fury was plain on her face as her father got her body, and started to push her towards the attic.
Tsa felt tears drip down his face. "Haven." he whispered.
She looked at him, and her fury melted. Then she was gone.
"Jura! I swear she will return to me!!!!!!!!!!" he shouted to no one.
