• Long before the time of man Gaia, mother of life, stood befor the ancient grove of trees and raised her hands to the sky. “Come forth to me my children, my warriors, my wolves, I call you to service for your mother and to defend all that is mine against the entities of the Wyrm!”
Apon speaking those words lightning drove down from the sky as if beckoned by her up turned palms, striking four of the ancient oaks splitting them apart. She hastened towards the four trees and in the shattered bows she found four pups cradled like infants in a mother’s arms between the wreckage of the trunks. She knelt before them touching them with her hand giving them life and watched as the ambled into the forest. The last of them was small and had a coat of red, like the light given off by the twilight of the day. “Ahh little one you will walk amongst all creatures and I will give you the gift of compassion and honor. With this you will be my warrior between worlds and cloaked in shadows shall you ever be.”
