• One: The Blind Demon

The sky was as lifeless as Moki’s eyes, pale and sightless. The earth below him was dullest as ever and the only thing moving were the slow workers, working on a stone building. Moki’s sister, Angla, was enjoying all that she can, her dolls colorless and hairless, Angla played and played making the best of everything. Moki dazing wondering what life has for him. Only thirteen Moki had a lot in front of him, but he wanted it now. Since his father died when he was only six, he had to become the man of the house. Making money for his ten year old sister and his mother was extremely hard, not only was he sightless but small, smaller than Angla, his mother, and everyone in town. No one knows how he got around town without tripping or getting tumbled by passing horses and bulls. He worked for a fisherman that had very few workers because he indeed was a troll. Moki didn’t mind. Work is work, better weird then none, he told himself.
“Sadly it’s time for me to get back to work, “said Moki slowly as he stood up from the ground shaking off the dirt of his black cloths, and combed his gray spicky hair with his fingers.
“Awww, Already?’ asked Angla. “I was having fun!”
“Too bad, if you want crumbs on your plate; tonight I have to go.”
“Moki, stop being mean to your sister!” yelled his mother from the window.
Moki stuck his tongue out and walked away. On his way to work a group of little boys dropped a ball in front of Moki for him to trip on. Moki stopped right then and picked it up, paused and then threw it at the kids! It Bounced off of one of their heads and hit another one thin the stonic. The only one not on the ground ran away. Moki sighed; If they do that type of stunt again I’m not sure they will get back up. A woman glared at him from her window and slammed it right when Moki was passing.
He finally reached the harbor. There were about 12 workers out today, and one of them was Moki.
“Hey Boss,” Moki waved at the disgusting green troll. “Is there a lot of work today?”
“Ya, Ther’ must be one this day” Boss Grunted.
Moki sighs,” Not as bad as yesterday, but we had better. So how is the lucky man to have us making his ship for him today?”
“It no man, it lady.” Boss points at a young black haired woman with a pistol in her pocket and a red bandana on her head sitting on a barrel. Moki never had a female as a customer, but he didn’t mind, like always. Moki walks up to her.
“Hello I’m Moki, I am going to be making your boat.”
“Hi Moki I’m Cerla nice to meet you. So you make ships, I like ‘em”
Moki stairs. “You do? Hm, why so?” Moki wasn’t to confused there bouts were different. Not only were they made out of teat wood ,but a different desine as well.
“Well there good for battles,” Cerla points at two handcrafted cannons next to her,”and there cool, you have a problem? Don’t you make them?”
    “Of couse you skank!”
“SLAM!” The sound carrys all around the small gray town. A huge red handprint was left on his white face.
“I have to say that you din’t desrve that ,yet that was fun.” Said Cerla
Moki rubbing his mark ingnoring her.
“Any way I was wondering how can you make bouts you’r blind as a ox having a hartattack in the dead sea!”
“Hay now! Don’t talk about the Dead Sea!” Moki shouted in her face. “Don’t you know that the Dead Sea is were nothing is living ,nor living things come in and never ever return alive!”
“Of couse I do, I saild around it and soon I will sail in it when I get a crew that is.”
“Crazy wicth! Is that why you want this bout?! To die in?”
“No, I want to see the living dead on the Dead Land.” She said dreamy.
“I don’t care if you want to see a gaint dead turle with mummys on top on its back! How do you even know its there?”
    “How do you?”
Moki gasped! How do I know? Moki thought and thought for quite a while. How do I know? He repeted to himself over and over.
“HELLO? Are you there? Oy’ blind idot! Hello?” She shotted in his face,”you still hav’nt ansered my first queston!”
“Waah, oh ya. It is none of YOUR buzens!” Yelled Moki “ I gust do!”
“fine don’t tell me! Well any way ,agen, when are you goin’ to get started on my boute?”
    “Now!” Said Moki
