• Here comes the man who sarted it all! ...

Charlie didn't know he had the guts to do what he did, but it was a great success. Every night he wrote down the new things that came from what he created. Next week he plans on taking it to the place he grew up. It's a poor town with nothing to it's name. The large device takes up all the room in his truck, but it pays off to bring it to the most remote of places.

~By this time in the world over-population is getting out of control. they needed a way to either make use of the un-importants, or get rid of them. Charlie was on the borderline already, but he pushed himself to the important side... now flying himself to another border, the one of madness~

But Charlie thinks this is all for the better, nothing seems better to him than the smell of fresh blood and clean air. Less population = Happier importants and a VERY happy Charlie. Everyone who is in his class of person loves him for what he does, but one day they fear he may cross this new border he approaches.

Charlie gets his coat from the rack and prepares to make a final use of the device in the town he is in. Outside the clouds seem a little lighter, usually it's just dust and occasional breaks of artificial sunlight.

~At this point in time, the sun already went behind many layers of dense cloud and artificially sunlight was put in place years ago. Now, though, it seems that new layers are created faster and even the artificial light can barely get through. The fact that Charlie makes the earth less populated is cutting the use of things that add to the cloud layers, another bonus~

On the ground, he is met by rogue burial stones, these things are put by the ones not yet killed. They litter the area and make it harder for him to get to the garage, which makes him all the more ready to get killing.

In the garage sits the huge machine, no longer as shiny as it once was, but still very functional. Blood stains ruin the chrome paint, what a shame. Charlie walks over to the "on" switch, flips it and gives it time to warm up before starting the day's work.

As he waits, he smokes his pipe and watches those who still wander go around looking confused and scared. None of them have clothes anymore, or brains left in their head. They lived in poverty without a lick of sense from the greater world. To Charlie, they are more like animals than humans, even with the same feelings and similar social skills as him.

~As the world became less accessible from big cities, the small towns and other areas had no way of getting in touch with others, get more supplies for they're schools and buildings, no more means of comunications or ways to travel. After the final global crash of 5210 the only people even close to modern intelligence left were those who lived in the large cities.~

Some search for food scraps in the mountains of garbage left from 2130. He watches, fascinated, as one strange character decides to eat a fallen friend. this makes him queasy, and bloodthirsty, as well. Cannibalism is said to be the worst "wrong doing" in the modern statement of rights and wrongs.

~The modern statement of rights and wrongs is similar to the rules set forth by religions practiced when the world was newer and more diverse. Books and memories from that time were gone and rotten too long ago for anyone even to remember anyone who knew anything close to those ancient religions.~
