• “Teehee, teehee hee…”
The strange girl twirled around in circles, giggling as her dress flowed out around her. The flowers sang and the birds joined in, until the girl suddenly stopped and her face turned dark. All the happiness stopped then.
“I wish for tea,” she stated simply, and sat down at the table covered with white lace where her tea was waiting for her.
As she picked up her cup, she paused.
“…Lovely for you to visit me…Cheshire Cat, Mad Hatter, March Hare, Caterpillar, White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts…even Tweedledee and Tweedledum have come to visit…and the Dormouse as well, finally woken from your slumber have you?”
“Alice, blood has been spilled.” Caterpillar said, blowing his smoke rings.
“Of course it has. Blood has always been spilled in Wonderland, the Queen of Hears has already been decapitating those she dislikes.” Alice responded, unsurprised.
“Not like this,” the White Rabbit said.
“Blood has poisoned the water,” the Cheshire Cat laughed. “That tea, who prepared it?”
The china teacup the girl had been holding smashed as she dropped it, her face nonchalant.
“Who dares poison my tea with their filthy blood?”
“I do wonder,” the March Hare replied.
They all watched at the light brown color turned into a murky red, staining the beautiful white lace tablecloth.
    “Wonderland…” Tweedledee began,
“Is beginning to fall,” Tweedledum finished.
“Then the time has come. We shall all perish.” Alice stated simply.
“Wonderland will return,” the Mad Hatter said, staring at the sky. “Our descendants will rebuild wonderland.”
“Years and years from now,” The Queen of Hearts continued, impatient. “But this messed up land shall be born once again, more messed up than it is now.”
Alice laughed, standing up once again. “Blood shall rain from the skies, corpses shall roam the earth, scavengers shall find their meals here…lovely. Wonderful scenery to drink tea in.”
“That is what our descendants shall face,” the Caterpillar drawled, blowing more smoke rings. “The children shall be protected…they have been sent elsewhere…and until they realize their duty to rebuild Wonderland, than Wonderland shall remain a deathland.”
Thunder rumbled, and the eleven gathered remaining living beings looked at each other seriously.
    “The time has come.”
Wind started to blow harshly, and red rain poured from the skies. Ravens screamed , and trees protested as they began to uproot.
“Where has Dormouse gone?” Alice said suddenly. “He has not said anything this whole time…”
The group looked around, until the Cheshire Cat finally said,
    “Ah…he’s asleep again….”
With one last crack of thunder, the last remaining beings in Wonderland perished in blood.
