• "Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, along time ago a magical adventure began…and ended. Or that's what was thought. Years after the supposed end of this magical adventure a young boy stumbled over a clue that showed that the end of that adventure was only the beginning of a war that would change the world, and especially the life of one girl. My name is Zoje and I'm going to tell you a story that has something for everyone. Bravery, romance, knights in shining armor, and fierce fire-breathing dragons. You might say my story has everything. Continue reading to see how it all fits together to create the greatest tale, ever told.
“So, I see that you have decided to continue reading. Well you made a good choice. I’ll start from the beginning, a normal day in the life of a normal girl. This girl’s name was Jordan. You could say that she was happy. Well, as happy as a spoiled rich girl could be when your parents never had time for you and although you have everything you could ever want, there was still that something missing. She didn’t really have any friends. Most of the kids at her private school were either on vacation every other day or, registered for school and didn’t even bother showing up. Jordan never liked going to Miami whenever she wanted or flying to Paris on a private jet just to see a stupid fashion show. No, Jordan preferred to just to read books and play soccer. All she really wanted was to be a normal kid. She often saw them driving home for school. They were always talking in small groups with there friends or going to the movies. To make up for her constant loneliness she made up her own stories about dragons and elves. All she really wanted was to be a normal kid. She often saw them driving home for school. They were always talking in small groups with there friends or going to the movies. To make up for her constant loneliness she made up her own stories about dragons and elves.

I will tell you now that if you continue reading you may find that it will change the way you think about life. You will wonder if something like will ever happen to you. And, who knows…maybe it will.
As I said this tale really starts on the night of her 12th birthday. After a normal child’s dream party she went to bed. Although she knew that she should be grateful for such a wonderful party she couldn’t help feeling disappointed that her parents didn’t come. As she was lying in bed just beginning to drift off to sleep (she often fell asleep thinking about the tales she made up about being a hero) when she heard a crashing sound downstairs. She quickly got up and dressed in the clothes she planned to wear the next day. Now, if you or I were in the same situation I have no doubt that we would probably just sit in bed and wait for a grown-up to handle the matter. Well, not Jordan. She went downstairs quiet as a mouse. The sight that met her eyes made her gasp. Standing before her was a boy who looked to be about her own age and dressed in the strangest clothing she had ever seen. He wore brown shaggy pants that looked kind of like the ones you would see in a tale about medieval adventures only much dirtier and torn up. What surprised her most was that his shirt (or what remained of it) looked like it had been attacked by a dog. Now all this had gone through her brain just like that, the boy had heard her gasp and had immediately turned around and spotted her. To her surprise he didn’t attack only put his hand over the vase and muttered a few words she couldn’t here. A normal person would have fled screaming but Jordan instead just watched amazed and figured that she was dreaming. Then, he turned o face her and smiled, “No, you are not dreaming and I did in fact just fix this vase by magic.”

“Hu” I said I couldn’t believe it and yet somehow, I could. “Hello, my name is Karom. You must be Zoje” “Who?” I asked feeling dazed. “Oh goodness, you don’t know who you are?” “Err, yes I do…I’m Jordan Thomas.” “Yes and I’m Kimona, now enough with the basic names.” I couldn’t figure why the heck I was even talking to this boy. “Why haven’t you called the police yet you idiot?” I thought to my self. “Feel free to call the police,” he said calmly “but if I were you I would want to hear what I have to say. As well as figure out how it is I can read your mind.” Once again I found myself willing to talk to this boy and nodded. He motioned for me to sit. “Well, here it goes. The question is, where to begin.”

“I’ll start from the beginning. A time of great happiness in my homeland. For centuries we leaved in peace with our surrounding tribes. That is, until our king, King Shertu, died, no murdered. At first the people of land weren’t sure who ad done such a terrible thing such as killing our beloved king, until we discovered who was to take his place. It was King Shertu’s nephew, Hution, who was going to now rule us. He had always been a nasty greedy little boy and that nature grew up with. Although most tribes, including mine new that he had killed our king so that he would be ruler of the most powerful area in my world. Unfortunately, the tribes that did know the truth weren’t the ones that mattered. The only ones that mattered were the tribes with the best army and farming. My tribe is best none for its wits, and talent with a bow. Anyway, Hution had a plan to take over my world. There was an old tale of a stone that when touched by one with the power to save the world in its time of need, would be able to do magic beyond one’s wildest dreams, and save the world. The stone was told to be brought from a world amazingly different from our own by two travelers who passed by our world a couple hundred years ago. Hution wants to find this stone and use it’s power to take over the world. “Did he find it?” I asked. He smiled “No, and that is why I am here.” He reached down in to a bag and pulled put a long, slender red stone that seemed too made of stars. “This, is the stone. I found while I was traveling through the mountains near my tribe. It was in a cave with strange writing on the walls. I looked closer at it and I realized that it was actually written in an old tongue that the children of my tribe were taught n their early years. I read it. What it said was strange to me.”

She who holds the power in her heart is not of thy world
The boy who finds this will heed my warnings and find the one known as Zoje
When ye find her thy will soon discover that she doesn’t know her own name
Now closely thy young lad and listen well
To find Zoje you must travel a thousand miles into a world foreign to your kind
Now go thy young heart and take the stone
But beware do not allow feelings to interfere
    Or doomed is your world

    “And now here I am.”
    “That’s all” I asked.
    “Were you expecting something more?”
    “I don’t know maybe.”
“It matters not now.” He said standing up. “It is time for us to depart.”
    “De what?”
    “Depart.”
“Wait wait wait, do you actually think that I’m going to run off in the middle of the night with a stranger supposedly from a magical realm and go to go some strange world and save it.”
“Well you figured the save the world part on your own and yes, I do expect you to.”
    “No”
“Well why not? Isn’t this what you have always wanted to be a hero?”
“I just sat there and stared at the ground thinking. Get up stupid this what you’ve always wanted.”
I sighed and looked up at his face. “What are we waiting for?” I asked smiling.
“That’s the spirit now lets go.”
He took me to the middle of the living room and began chanting slowly. And, just like that I was in a meadow filled with beautiful flowers.”
He smiled and motioned for me to follow him. He led me to a small cottage. Inside I was greeted by an extremely beautiful woman that I later learned to be Kimona’s mother. It was then I realized that I was exhausted. After I was given a plate of food that was so delicious that I can’t describe it, I’m not even sure what it was, I was shown to a room that was exactly like my one at home. When I asked about it Kimona’s mother told me that it was just something a spell she used to duplicate my room to make me feel more comfortable. I changed into some clothes she brought me and layed down, I fell asleep instantly.

    I was alone,
    Everything was dark.
I felt like there was a part of me missing.
Like, there was a hole in my heart.
Then, a light as bright as the sun.
As I shrink form the brilliant light
    A voice appears.
    “Do not fear young one.”
It said in a calming voice.
I am Juhtrian, queen of all.
I am coming to you to explain who you are
    Where you come from
And why you are destine to save this world
But, I cannot tell you here
You must journey to the land of Frumingth
Where you will meet The Sun Under the Stars
Tell him that the one he longs for the most has returned...
