• I looked at the strange unfamiliar person that was staring back at me in the mirror. The pail white face, the deep icy blue eyes and my hair, the strangest thing happened, my dark brown curls turned to black completely straight hair.
    With that there was a knock on the door. “Come in.” I said very quietly. I was in too much shock to speak any louder.
    To my great surprise it was Mitch’s adopted sister, Arial.
    “Arial, what’s up? This is a little strange.” Right behind her was Mitch. Mitch walked quickly over to my side.
    “We have to talk to you about many things.” Mitch said into my ear. His breath tickled down my spine.
    Mitch led us into the extra room and they sat me down on the bed. The ripping burning feeling in my throat had dulled to a numb feeling.
    “Okay, do you remember the story I told you about my sister.” Mitch threw a glance to Arial.
