Pastage of Time Heals the Deepest of Scars

"Its hard to believe what happened on this day those years ago." said a woman with strange white hair and tan skin, "We won a great battle but lost so much more." This woman was not alone, she was with three others each with eyes and ears on her.
There was another woman in the group; orange hair that was tied into a perfect pony tail, eyes lit with a hazel glow, dressed in an emerald robes with a sort of robin hood look to them, and for her ears, elf ears.
The two others were both men. One was a bulky sort of a man, dressed in fisherman's clothes, his eyes dimmed with a brown light, his hair a dark spiky brown, and in his hands a bottle of sake. The second man was more different that the first; his hair a midnight color tied into a small pony tail close to the lobe of his ear, his eyes dark green and foucs on anything that moved, and he dressed that of knights clothes but not armor.
"Yes Jewel, it is." said the oranged haired girl as she turned her head to look at the man holding the sake bottle, "Tal, stop drinking that! You already smell bad from the fish." In saying those words she rose up and sezied the bottle from Tal's hands and threw it in a bucket where it broke. "Paula! *hick*" Tal jumped to argue but fell back down because of the sake, "Honestly! You think that Sa-" Paula stopped and bent her head down. The knight came over to Paula and patted her on the shoulder, "I still can't say her name too." the man's face then went to a sadden expresion. "Kennth we shouldn't be sad, *sigh* a part of me wishes to celebrate the victory that happened on this day, but the rest isn't so sure." Jewel went by Tal and sat next to him, reguardless of what he smelled like.
Paula and Kennth moved chairs over near Jewel and Tal. Each didn't show any expresion but saddness. Finally Jewel spoke up, "This was the day we won against Cray," Kennth, Paula, and Tal looked at Jewel almost hoping for something. "that was over 20 years ago but still," She rose up, walked over to a dresser, picked up an old fashioned painted picture with herself, Kennth, Paula, Tal, another boy with blonde hair and gray eyes, and a girl with shoulder length brown hair with a red bandanna and blue eyes.
She turned carefully, not wanting to drop the picture and placed it in Paula's hands. "it was the day that we lost a close friend. A child-hood friend, since we were all six," Paula looked at the picture and passed it to Kennth with a tear rolling down her cheek. "it was the day we lost our captain that lead us through anything, reguardless of what would happen. Even at the price of her own life." Kennth finished and gave it to Tal (who had recovered from the sake) and rubbed his forehead. Tal pressed his fingures lightly on the picture passing Jewel, himself, Kennth, Paula, the blonde boy, and the blue-eyed girl, but paused at the blue-eyed girl.
Jewel looked outside, watching the fireworks go off outside as the people of Razil celebrated this 'glorious' night. Under the fireworks, she could see the sea. As each firework went off, it changed the color of the sea from red, orange, purple, white, etc. Jewel then looked up into the night sky. Aside from the fireworks, a full moon shown its light threw the night. "When the moon is full, like this Jewel, I feel like there is nothing i can't do." Jewel remembered what her old friend said. That was the first night they met and from that day on were best friends.
Jewel then walked over to Tal and tapped him on the shoulder while holding out her hand. Tal gently gave her the picture with his eyes moistened, in turn, he wiped his eyes. Jewel then lightly pressed against the picture, although only were the blue-eyed girl stood. "It was the day we lost our captain, friend, sister of the former Knights of Gaian...Sakura Vingerhutt." A small tear rolled down her cheek as she said her friend's name.
