Fight of the Knights



Merchant Boat


Sakura couldn't sleep that night on the ship. As she came up from the hall, she could have sworn she heard more than just her friends snoring. Sakura then remembered this was a merchant ship, it was just the merchants snoring away. She then got to the deck, it was still night time. Sakura found her way to the railing and sat on it, feeling the cool sea breeze on her face. Her swords were still at her side, as well as her bandanna still around her head. Sakura didn't, however, like what was on her left hand, the curse. She rubbed it, the mark hurt like there where needles in it. Sakura then looked out to sea, 'Its all too familar...' she was reminded of Razil, Katerina, and Snowe.
She then heard a deck board crack and aimed her sword at the throut of Troy. "Kennth was right, you are good with your blades." Troy said as he then walked to her left side. Sakura seeft her blade but didn't take her eyes off him as she looked back to the sea. "Do like to stare at random things? Like the sea?" Sakura looked at Troy, he seemed all too familar but she knew she never met him. "So? Don't even suguest staring at you. My whole life isn't about boys, not like my friends." she then jumped off the railing back onto the deck, "Ouch. That hurt. Your very stingy." Troy said once she landed, he then had the same feeling about her like Sakura felt about him. Sakura then turned around to stare at him in the eye, "Tough. I'm not looking for any boyfriends." she then walked back to the hull, but something caught her eye, a shield.
Sakura looked back to see that Troy was busy and carefully walked over to the shield. She studied the embelm on it, Kooluke. Sakura then jumped back and landed with the shield on her, "Ow! Oh shoot." she struggled to get the shield off but then Colton came up and pointed a sword at her. "I knew it! Your a spy!" Sakura then reached for her blade as Troy came over, "Yeah well i'm not all that sneaky am I? Or maybe I am." She then jumped up and used her blades to knock out theirs from Colton and Troy's hands. Sakura then ran downstairs and grabbed a pot on her way and banged it at Jewel, Kennth, and Chiepoo. "Wake up! Now!" They all practicly jumped out of there beds, Jewel was the first to speak out, "Jeez Sakura! What's your deal!?" Sakura then flung the pot backwards on the face of a soilder that was trying to sneak up on her. "That. Their not merchants, their Kooluke!" she said as the soilder fell to the ground.
Kooluke have been enemies of Gaian and other Kingdoms for a long time. Glen told them all once they graduated from their training, that he once faced the fierce amoung fierce of all Kooluke generals, the 'Child of the Sea God' himself. Glen said that that was almost seven years ago, Sakura remembered that day even thou she was just nine years old. She remembered that Glen came back with many cuts and black-and-blue marks, that day Sakura vowed to make this 'Child of the Sea God' go back to the gods!
Sakura, Jewel, Kennth, and Chiepoo ran up to the deck when they were stopped by Troy and Colton. "So who exactly are you people!?" Sakura then drew her blades as well as Kennth and Jewel, Chiepoo picked up the shield to hide himself behind. "We would die before we told the 'Child of the Sea God' and Colton of Kooluke's main forces are whereabouts!" Troy and Colton looked at Sakura who just spoke, "This is really those people? Oh boy are we in for it!" spatted Jewel, "Too late now!" yelled Kennth as Colton lunged at him. Sakura then blocked Colton's attack and kicked him backwards. Jewel and Chiepoo were being attacked by soilders; Jewel then used her Water Rune and controled a wave to wash the enemies away. Troy was about to attack Kennth off guard but Sakura came inbetween his goal and Troy's blade and pushed him back. Kennth then went on to attacking the soilders and trying to find their boat. Sakura was almost killed by someone from behind but she used her right handed blade and got rid of him. Troy then ran forward at Sakura but she blocked his attack, she then was trying to push him back but he kept going. Sakura's back then crushed up against the wall but kept her blades blocking Troy's, "Too bad your an enemy Sakura. I hate to kill someone like you." Troy then leened over their blades and kissed her on the cheek. Aside from Sakura turning red, she then kicked him in the gut and jumped away, "Creep!" Sakura then threw a knife she found at his cape stopping Troy from attacking back.
"I found it! Lets go!" Kennth said as he pointed to their ship and jumped down. Jewel knocked out another shoulder and pulled Chiepoo to the ship and jumped. Un like Jewel, Chiepoo landed on his face, "Ow. Wait! What about Sakura?" Jewel, Kennth, and Chiepoo looked back at the ship and Sakura was jumping down with a bag. "Unless you want to see if they are good jumpers, Row!" Sakura dropped the bag near a box, picked up an oar, and started rowing. The others followed, Kennth was more curious about what was in the bag that Sakura took, and Jewel and Chiepoo were thinking the same.
Colton then looked at them, their were not anywhere in sight. Troy managed to pull the knife out and walk over to Colton. "They got away." said Troy as he put his sword away and threw the knife into a box near by, Colton then grumbled something and put his sword away. "They seemed to know what they were doing, all but the Nay-Kabood. You think they were the enemy?" Colton then looked back at Troy, "No. If they were the would be heading northwest, not east. But lets keep what happened here under raps. If the King found out you were beaten by two girls, a boy, and a Nay-Kabood, he'll have your head." Troy nodded his head at Colton as he walked back to their soilders that were knocked down. Troy then looked down and saw that Sakura left her glove that she was wearing on her left hand. When he reached for it, Troy felt something, something curse-like that was near the glove. He then looked to the east where Sakura and her friends would have gone, 'Are you a True Rune weilder? If that's the case, I'll be seeing you much sooner than you think, Sakura.' Troy thought as a smirk came over his face.
