Hall of Knights


All was quiet in the Hall. Sakura awoke to nothing but the birds chirping, it had been two days since the Brandue attack. In those two days, Sakura did nothing but sleep. Sakura sat on the side of her bed, rubbing her eyes at the dream she had. She was on the roof of the Hall, Glen was there too. Glen then suddenly fell to the ground and she was trying to get to him put couldn't. It was a recuring image through her mind. Sakura then just stood up and got dress in her uniform. As she was putting on her bandanna she could have swore there was someone in her room with her, but she let that feeling pass.
Upon closing her door Snowe came up to her, "Hey there. Feeling better?" Sakura turned at her friend and smiled, "Yes. Much." Snowe then looked saddened, "Come with me, I'm going to market to pick up a few things." Sakura only nodded her head at him and followed. Sakura wondered if it was what happened on the ship those two days ago that made him so saddened. Just as they were about to leave, the two knights that were with Glen and Sakura on the ship came up to them, "Hey. Already up and walking?" Sakura could tell this was sarcastim and smiled at them for her respond. "You know Sakura you did quite well on that mission." the other knight stepped foreward, "Yeah. I was scared for a little while, but it seems you and the Commader escaped with small injures." Sakura then heard Snowe come up in front of her, "I can't believe you two. Didn't you see what happened back there? The Commader's wounds were hardly small." The two knights looked at each other and then one came forth, "Well now, shouldn't the ex captain with a 'seriously injured arm' be getting some rest right about now?" Snowe grunted and walked through the doors behind them, "Sakura don't let the Vingerhutts' push you around like a rag doll." That was the knight last comment to her and then they returned to their duties.
Sakura became worried after the last comment, it hinted into what Georg said. But she shook that feeling away and went outside to find Snowe. She found him at an old fountain in a rustic part of the island. Sakura approached him carefully, "Snowe?" Snowe merely looked up at her and motioned his hand to a seat next to him. Sakura then sat down a little ways from him, she knew first hand how Snowe is when his mad. "I'm sorry Sakura. I just...I don't what to think. Back on the ship, my cowardness almost made you die. I'm sorry...so sorry." Sakura turned her attention to the fountain, "This is where we first met isn't it?" Snowe then looked at the fountain and the surroundings. "Yes I believe so."

Glen was walking a young Sakura up to the fountain. Back then, Glen didn't have his beard but he looked the same. Sakura was very small, if you put her up next to a door she would just be tall enough to touch the door nob with her head. Her eyes not dark blue, but a light blue, she was dressed in a small dress that Katerina made for her. When she was this age was the only time she would dare wear a dress.
Sakura then saw at the fountain a boy with guards around him and was drawing on the stoned ground with chalk. "Glen? Who is that and why is he alone?" Sakura asked as she looked at Snowe then back at Glen. "He is Snowe Vingerhutt, the son of the lord of Razil, this island." Glen said trying to turn around, "Why are we going back?" she asked plainly stating the fact. Glen bent down to her level and talked to her face to face, "Because we are not allowed to talk to him, Lord Vingerhutt told me-Sakura!" Sakura didn't listen to Glen, Snowe looked lonely and she wanted to make him feel better.
"Hi." was all she said to Snowe, the guard almost drew their swords, but they saw Glen so they figured it would be ok. Snowe looked up at her almost shocked in the matter, "H-hi." Sakura then looked at Snowe's picture, it was a sword and a ship, "Do you like stories about knights and pirate's too?" Snowe looked down at his picture and smiled embarass like, "Yeah, my father doesn't like the part about the pirates thou." Sakura looked at the sword, "Do you want to become a knight too?" Snowe jolted his head up at her in shock, "You want to become a knight too!?" Sakura giggled at his gesture, "Yes. If Katerina can be a knight, why can't I?" The guards all looked at Glen who was shaking his head in embarassment. "Yes. Knights get to go places and help people. Oh, by the way my name is Sakura." She reached out her hand, Snowe smiled at his new found friend, "I'm Snowe." and they shook hands.

Snowe and Sakura were now walking back to the market and talking about what happened as they grew up together. Sakura could tell that it made him happy talking about when they were kids. She was glad that he wasn't all mad and such, she cares for him like a brother. However in her mind it flashed a memory of her and Snowe back at the docks. But it seems Snowe likes me in a bigger way then just a sister. Sakura thought as they came to a medicine shop near the Rune shop. Her mind then flashed the memory of the owner and her future, she shook that feeling away and walked inside the medicine shop.
"Welcome Mr. Knights!" Sakura and Snowe both turned to see a friendly face. "Hi Chiepoo, how are things?" Sakura said as she smiled at her furry friend. Chiepoo was a Naykabod, meaning he was a catlike creature that walked on two legs, but he still had traits that cats have. Chiepoo had light brown fur, pointed cat ears at the top sides of his head, a light brown tail on his back, white cat mittens on his paws, and strange as this part may sound he was dressed in a red vest, with a white dress shirt underneath, greenish-tan pants, and dress shoes on his feet. "Pretty good so far Ms. Sakura. The shop owner is a little harst but I get the job done." Snowe went up to the desk and got a bag of something, "Sakura come on." Sakura waved goodbye at Chiepoo and followed Snowe back to the Hall.
Once in the hallway that had Sakura's room inside, the cook, Funji called to Sakura. "Sakura if your not too busy miss, could you come and take up the Commander's meal? That's what he want's you to do for him." Snowe then patted her on the shoulder, "I've got things to do now anyways. Make sure to give Glen the medicine for me ok?" Sakura nodded a yes and walked into the kicthen and got the meal from Funji. Funji acually looks younger that how old he is, with brown hair, is eyes closed but can still see, dressed in a light blue shirt and tan pants. "Make sure to give that to Commander before it gets cold." Sakura nodded at his request and when upstairs to Glen's room.
