------Hey babe, Its been a while. I've missed you. I know I've been busy chasing the life and what not. I hope you are too, maybe sometime we'll cross paths again. I've been building the studio and what not, I haven't touched your guitar in a while but I did restring it and clean it. I miss playing with you, the melodies we used to play, the melodies we used to share. I've been alright for the most part. I guess I'm chasing after you again...

------I still remember that day. It was a sunset, and the light bounced off the sky in pretty shades of orange, and red; your two favorite colors. We were at Edgewater NJ, if you still remember. But across the horizon in front of us was the whole cityscape of Manhattan, with only the Hudson river separating us. It was your last day here, and I wanted it to be... I don't know, special I guess. So I took you out there, cause I know how you love the beautiful and gorgeous in nature and what not. To be honest I miss you a lot, I don't even know what I'm doing here.

------You held my face, your back against the iron fence//border that separates us and the waters below. I held you by your waist, as you run your hands down my jawline. Your facial expression tells it all, that you don't wanna go, but you have to. I can see it in your eyes too, that somehow you just wanna stay like this forever.

------"When I'm gone, you know where to find me." you said as you wiped that slight opening, where tears flow out.

------"I know," I smiled, I was trying my hardest not to break. Hopefully I could hide the hurt, but knowing you. You probably saw through my illusions.

------"I'll see you on the other side then?"

------"Yeah... that would be nice."

------And by tomorrow, you were gone.... I'm always here waiting for you to return, just so you know. Even if I am chasing the life.
