Ch. 6. Introduction to evil.


.A young white-haired boy walked down a stone hallway. At the end was a great stone door, seemingly impossible to move. Pressing a hand up against the door, the boy pushed lightly, and it swung open. A dark figure sitting in what appeared to be a throne of darkness was in the middle of the room. The boy knelt in front of the figure, as it spoke

“Are the preparations ready, Itamo?” The figure asked.

“Yes, Leader-sama. All are ready.” The boy, Itamo answered.

“Good. All goes according to plan.” Leader-sama said. Then, throwing his head back, he let out a dark chuckle.

“Jacob Hess, are you going to continue to goof off in my class?” A sharp voice called out.

A month after discovering his powers, and his friends as well, Jacob was sitting in his science class with Kelly and Aisha. They’d all been receiving lessons from Jacob’s grandfather, a martial arts master, and the former Earth Guardian. Jacob was showing Aisha and Kelly a trick that involved manipulating a stone into various shapes behind his desk.

“No, Mister Kashi.” Jacob said, turning red.

“Good. Now as I was saying. We have a few new student to our school, and they’ll be in this class period. You may enter now.” Mr Kashi said, speaking to the door. The door opened, and four new student entered. One was a boy with bright reddish-orange hair. Another was a girl with powder blue hair. Another girl with black hair, and finally a boy with pure white hair.

“Why don’t you tell us your names.” Mr Kashi said kindly.

The boy with reddish hair walked forward.

“My name is Shane Wellsworth. I’m fifteen years old. I don’t like to talk much.” He said, somewhat lazily.

The girl with blue hair stepped forward.

“My name is Kagune Pasimo. This appears to be a nice school, I guess.” The girl said with relative uninterest.

The other boy stepped forward, his white hair shining somewhat.

“My name is Itamo Konis,” The boy said, rolling his eyes somewhat, “And it would be wise to never get in my way.”

Upon hearing this, Jacob snorted in laughter. Itamo’s head shot up, and he made eye contact with him. Both of their brown eyes stared at each other with relative hatred. Jacob couldn’t explain it, but he didn’t like this boy.

The final girl stepped forward, her black hair rippling as she walked.

“Hello,” She said, somewhat shyly, “My name is-“

“Jessica!” Jacob shouted in disbelief, standing up.

“Mr. Hess! This is your last warning!” Mr. Kashi shouted.

“No, Mr Kashi! I know Jessica! I haven’t seen you since the second grade!” Jacob said.

“Hess? Jacob?” Jessica said thoughtfully. Then, her eyes widened. “Oh my God! Jacob, Is that you?!? You’ve gotten so tall!”

Jacob got out of his seat, and ran to the front of the room, where Jessica met him. They embraced in a hug, which got the girls going with “Aww!”’s, and the boys catcalling. They both broke apart, their faces red.

“I hate to break up such a wonderful reunion, but If you’ll return to your seat?” Mr Kashi told Jacob. Jacob walked back to his seat, with Aisha and Kelly snickering.

Mr. Kashi assigned the new student seats in the class, and finished his lesson. When the bell rung, Jacob left Aisha and Kelly, and chased after Jessica.
