This red veil I wear
It shows how my life isn't fair
This red veil I wear
Under it, I show that I don't care
Caped with a red velvet coat
I feel like I'm in the sea, alone on a boat
Caped with a red velvet coat
Trapped inside this dark, abandoned moat
Wearing this simple red sweatshirt
I thought I wouldn't get hurt
Wearing this red sweatshirt
I started to lose my comfort
I shed myself from that cover and felt great
Now with opportunities coming, I quietly await
- Title: This Red Veil I Wear...
- Artist: merkflank
- Description: This poem's about me wearing a red jacket everyday in high school so I could shut myself in from everybody there. I wrote this because I was kind of bored and I wanted to write a poem about this a long time ago :D
