• Blinding lights shone all around her. Just the sight of them, after all that darkness, made her want to hurl. A finger of fear slowly crept up her back, chilling her like frost. The haze in her mind would not clear out; it was as if her thoughts were coming through sludge. This unearthly fogginess in her brain made the situation even more bizarre, and her breath was arriving in short, delayed gasps. Just when she assumed the predicament she was in couldn’t get any more horrible, an eerie voice came from high above her called out something she could not fathom, but understood the meaning of by the horrifying, icy, emotionless, tone the voice used, as if looking at a small insect in need of removing.
