pick a lie, any lie
lie it fester, grow
sit back and open your eyes
so you can enjoy the show

seven, seven, seven tales
see fictional pages
six, six, six more sales
of stories that remain false through the ages

sex is fun, without a doubt
this, no one can deny
so what are these restrictions about
I turn a deaf ear and a blind eye

try, please try, to make me good
in any way you can
you know that you believe I should
"embrace the Son of Man"

feed them religion, feed me sh*t
feed me your nonsense
you can never make me submit
now come and face the consequence

can you feel it? feel the passion
now tell me that doesnt feel great
my kind of life doesnt go out of fashion
now let your "gods" distintigrate

I like the poem and the wording. You managed to make it rhyme without making it sound ridiculous like so many of the other rhyming poems on this site. Not sure if I particularly agree with your sentiment, though. I'm not very fond of religion myself, but the implication that the atheistic worldview is more capable of surviving through the ages than a theistic worldview doesn't really have much backing.

I love this poem. It's seems so true now. (I know you'll probably never believe, but I still want to keep trying. Maybe someday I'll be able to convince you of what I have always believed to be the truth. At this point, though, you seem to be making more progress in convincing me.)
