• The baby boy stared at his mother,
With love no contempt in his eyes.
The mother looked back at the baby,
Hoping that the feeling never dies.

Her eyes were a form of raw beauty,
Her lips were soft as a bunnies fur.
The way that she smiled brought a grin to his face,
The way that she held him in itself was a cure.

The mother watched as he stumbled and tried,
The mother watched when he fell and cried.
She picked him up and said, "Try one more time,"
"Good job my baby boy, you're doing fine."

The baby boy stared at his mother,
With love no contempt in his eyes.
The mother looked back at the baby,
Hoping that the feeling never dies.

After his first step came many more things,
His first car and his first years of high school.
His arms were always wrapped around her though,
He'd never think his love for her was un-cool.

Married with kids a few years later,
His relationship with mom had been through thick and thin.
But he always ended up running back to her,
Longing for the feel of her soft bunny skin.

The baby boy stared at his mother,
With love no contempt in his eyes.
The mother looked back at the baby,
Hoping that the feeling never dies.

As his mother lay on his death bed,
He cried and he held her hand.
"I love you mom now and forever." He said,
As he watched her drift into a distant land.

A mother's love is enough for one,
A mother's love is enough for two.
Love your mother with all your heart,
    Just like she loved you.

The baby boy stared at his mother,
With love no contempt in his eyes.
The mother looked back at the baby,
Hoping that the feeling never dies.
