I'm not here to simply give you a report on why I wear this mask
or why I never take it off outside of a warzone, I'll only give you one little detail, I'm not
entirely human, well I never was one to begin with and you could say that those
conspiracy theorists have a few good points about a particular, scaly alien race, except,
they didn't got one fact straight, there "is" only one such humanoid species that still lives,
why you say that, well they banished me to oblivion of course, yet they forgot about our
home world dying from the inside out and now I'm all that remains of that oh so noble
race in the galaxy we share with who-knows how many others out there. Am I sad? No,
because I've lost my love towards my own people that's why, what about the children or
the elderly? When does that even matter we're all the same, we act just like you humans
except we know when to stop and take a weekend off or at least go on a holiday before
slicing each other's necks like a serial killer who can't even control their own blood lust.
We're all just the same, but, don't I feel alone in this world? What am I if I have no one else
who shares my species, should I go find the answers to my people's extinction?
Here's one answer, not a damn thing in this universe can make me as happy as now
and that's what I am, field scientist wielding an axe that can burn the air around those
who breathes and bleeds.
