• A single choice can alter the way of life completely,

Kira stood before the king and the prince, men soon surrounded her. She was nearly tempted to take the helmet off, it was becoming a burden and they already knew she was a woman, however with it on they did not know her face and that was the only reason it was kept on. Kira watched the king wave his hand and the sword that she held in her right hand was swiftly kicked from her hand. In reaction to the move that one of the guards made, her left hand went over to massage her now bruised wrist. However, the other guards grabbed her arms and pushed her to the ground so that she was kneeling.

"Now, please explain to me why I should listen to your demands because from my point of view, you should be following my orders," the king smirked. Kira turned her head to the right, disrespect was one thing she was great at. She examined the situation she was in and what the king didn't know was that it would take more than a few men to hold her down but she wasn't about to show that just yet, she was holding that as a fall back in case this plan didn't work the way she wanted.

"You think I'm really as dense as to walk in here unprepared demanding the only heir to the thrown, if so then you are sorely mistake," Kira paused before continuing. "You see, your majesty, I have set explosives in multiple places among this kingdom, each one set to go off in approximately an hour. These explosives are pretty new and the only person who knows how to disarm them is myself," she chuckled at every man's reaction. She could only imagine that each man was thinking something along the lines of, "this woman really thought everything through." Kira then shook off each of the guards and stood on her feet again. "So, this is how the whole thing is going to play out. You're going to hand over the prince, you're going to send a single guard with us to the edge of the kingdom and when I'm sure that no one has followed us, I'll give the guard directions to each explosive and detailed description of how to disarm it. No one will come searching for the prince because if they do, I'll find out and kill him... Also take note, I'm not scared to do this because I already know not to expect to make it out of my situation alive... Once my business is settled with the prince, I will return with him alive and well," Kira walked over to her sword and picked it up.

"I'll go," Rizuki stepped forward, his eyes held a sort of sadness in them as though this decision was only partially forced but mostly choice. Each guard took a step back as the price approached Kira, as they became face to face, Rizuki reached to take her helmet off of her and before he knew it he was facing his father, his hand behind his back and his back against her chest plate.

"Okay, lets get this trade over," Kira said strongly, no emotion in her voice. When they finally reached the edge of the kingdom with one guard following them. Kira turned around and pulled a piece of paper hidden among the armor and handed it off to the guard who turned around and headed back to the castle.

"You're not going to get away with this," Rizuki announced as though she didn't know that.

"I never claimed that I would," Kira ripped off her helmet, taking in a deep breath of fresh air. She the took his arm and led him back to the forest, the place where they met eight years ago.
