• She lay there on the ground, silver tears rolling down her face. They looked like tiny gleaming fish slipping down her cheeks and onto the cold earth. It began to rain, at that very moment, as i began to weep. The rain may have wiped away the tears, but the memories were still there. I looked at her, her warm body lying silently on the cold dirt and my heart began to whither away. I told her we would be okay, I told her that whatever happened we would be fine... I hate lying to my best friend. Finally she looked up at me and smiled, her cheeks lit up and her eyes shone. I smiled back, but it was fake, and she could tell. She went back to staring up at the stars. The night sky always looked beautiful out here. I woundered if she still remembered; when we were about 9 we came here. It was next to a long teal river that flowed through a concrete bridge with astounding detail. Tall dark griffins at one end, ferocious Lions perched at the other surounded by chirping sparrows. I stood up and looked down the river, but it was like I wasnt even in the same place. The willows trees lay dead on the ground, and the discusting filth in the water lapped up against the remains of the bridge that were smashed peices near the bank. Memories overtook my mind and I was about to cry, but a soft, familiar hand clasped my sholder. I turned my head and she stared at me with soft eyes. I knew I would always be there for her, but now she was here for me. <3
