• The world of dragon-wolves...a peaceful crossbreed, obviously made from drakes and vargs. They all had the full build of wolves, then the high wings of dragons sprouted from their shoulderblades. Retractable claws were useful in hunting, and battles though for the longest time there were none...The claws themselves were visible as wolves' are, but around three inches of the metallic nail material was hidden beneath the wolf's pads and extended only if they were agitated or hunting.

Other traits were also had from dragons. One was their fangs. Their vicious canines. Sizes of these teeth varied, but the longest poked through the wolf's maw around two inches. That wasn't all. they were venomous. It ranged from near harmless to extremely potent, from wolf to wolf it was different. This was their most deadly defence. Horns were also common, but not on every wolf. They only showed on the skulls of the wolves, portruding as high as two feet.

The peaceful lands were divided, with the humongous flatlands lush and full of prey, also abundant in wolves and packs. Others also thrived in the mountains, though they weren't as plentiful.

This peace didn't last forever. It couldn't, not when an alpha pair of the flatlands was found gored and murdered. Shocked, all of the flatlands packs started speaking about the action in fear, which grew as more similar murders happened to other groups' alphas or betas.

The cruel acts didn't stop, and the attacked wolves began to investigate. With a jolt, they eventually found out that a group had formed. A group of wolves in the mountains, bent on stealing the flatlands and all it's prey. The winter was long, seven months to be exact, and the higher grounds lost too much prey.

This new enemy would send out mercenaries to take down the packs one by one, starting with the strongest and most respected. Eventually, the flatlands packs grew more suspicious and defensive, joining together and forming much more formiddable ranks.

That didn't end the acts of murder, and another discovery was found. The enemies were right inside the flatlands packs. An omega could simply be persuaded into believing the life outside of this was better, and be persuaded into killing the alpha. this was how they broke through the ranks of defence.

Things declined even more as th ewolves found murders being commited by the most potent of poisons, killing in moments due to rushing through the bloodstream and creating heart failure. Conferences were held and discussions were had, until they decided to make a violent stand for their futures.

    War broke out.
