• Hades sighed to himself. How could he let this happen? How in Tartaros can I let this happen? I'm the Lord of Erebus, the King of the Underworld for Olympus' sake! Suddenly, he remembered something; Persephone was still in her nightgown.....while he was still in the room!! "Erm...Umm......There are some dresses in the c-closet. H-Help y-y-yourself!" He managed to say as he shielded his eyes and Persephone turned away and ran to the mentioned closet, both faces a million different shades of red.

I hate to admit this, but.....Pain's winning. He's actually WINNING! Panic mentally screeched as she moved her red pawn. Pain, however, intercepted with his white knight as he brushed black bangs from his face. "Uhh, Panic? Are you alright?" He questioned as his best friend's golden eyes turned a honey brown. "N-N-Nothing's wrong....let's just k-keep going." Panic replied as seven sacks of stress weighed down on her. In a matter of hours, the game was over, the result was an even match as Pain decided for the(possibly mental) sake of Panic. I hope Panic's alright. She seemed nervous... He thought as he walked alongside her, worrying.

Meanwhile, Persephone picked out a simple gray, one-strap dress that clung to her hips that also had a bit of a train that followed her as she walked down the hall and out into the garden. Her heart as well as her pace quickened; I've got a bad feeling that someone might be here... Her suspicions proved correct; out of the shadows leapt a young man, about 27 years of age. He had a lean frame that stood 6'6 , tan skin, dark brown eyes which were framed by his angular face and reddish-orange hair that fell to the nape of his neck. "Hello...Persephone." He purred to Demeter's daughter, who wavered. Who in Hecate's name is this guy??! She mentally asked the Fates as he stepped closer. "The name's Pirithious. I came here to rescue you from Hades." He said pridefully as Persephone stepped backwards and hollered, "Rescued? I am not, repeat, not a 'Mary-Jane damsel in distress' and I never will be!" "Listen, Persephilia, aren't you even scared? You're in Hades, for Hestia's sake!" He said, getting her name mixed up with another's he was actually supposed to marry. Well, that did it; Persephone said nothing, sans a threat: "If you just called me Persephilia, you'll be fed to Cerberus myself, do you understand?" She growled. Pirithious simply picked her up and slung her over his shoulder. How dare he! "You are coming with me, you little viper, one way or another! And I won't lose that bet...." He hissed, the last part of the sentence reaching Persephone and smacking her in the face. "A BET!!????!!!???!!!!!!!?????? I'm part of some stupid, childish bet?? Are you really that thick-headed a gambler? Were you under the influence of Dionysus when you made this bet??" She screeched, smacking and kicking her kidnapper repeatedly as she went noticed by Charon as they crossed. I've got to alert Milord Hades about this...., went his unnoticed thoughts as he rowed across.

Hades waited in his study as Pain and Panic slipped in, silent as shadows. "Where's Persephone?" He asked, his maroon eyes dilating in worry. "That's what we'd like to know." The two trusted servants/hitmen both retorted in unison. "Where did you last see her, Panic?" Hades questioned as the white-haired girl answered, "While I was looking out of a window in my room, I saw in the garden maze. I turned for a while to get something, then I heard a scream, footsteps, and finally nothing." "Tell me she didn't..." Hades and Panic began with fear in their voices as Pain, sadly, concluded, "I'm afraid the unimaginable has happened, Milord. Panic and I will head to the Mortal Realm at once to find Persephone as well as her persuer." Pain stated in his usual stoic manner as he and Panic knelt before their King before waiting at the banks of Acheron for Charon's usual route.
