• Lenille looked up from his books as he heard soft footsteps coming acroos his office. It was Meetchu.
"Lenille, I couldn't sleep, mind if I sit with you for awhile?" He softly whispered. Lenille smiled and patted the spot beside him. The meek fellow sat down and leaned up against him with a soft sigh.
" What was it this time? A nightmare?" Lenille spoke without looking up from his books.
Meetchu shifted uncomfortably, meaning a yes.
"You know, nightmares are usually a sign that your mind is restless. Something up?"
    "No, Well...Not exactly."
Lenille leaned over and kissed Meetchu softly.
"Hun, you can tell me anything, That's what being in a relationship is about, Trust."
He smiled and put his arm over Meetchu's shoulders. His eyes were shining in the lamplight. A blue-green hue with jewel-like quality. Meetchu looked into them with slight curiousity.
"Your eyes, they're so bright...I love them," he spoke cheerfully with a smile.
Lenille looked down at him and pondered about how special he was to him. His curly black hair and his dark hazel eyes. So wonderful and completely belonging to him.
" You should get some sleep..." he said pulling his long blonde hair over his shoulder and standing. Meetchu looked at him with a slight glare.
"What was that look all about?"
He sat back down and looked at Meetchu.
His face was turning a pink color and his lip was trembling.
"Meetchu? Are you okay?" He asked. he was starting to get worried.
Meetchu reached into his robe pocket and pulled something out.
"I've tried getting your attention for the past three days...You were always so busy so I didn't want to disturb you...Will you...Will You Please..." He whimpered.
Lenille was waiting for the rest of his sentence. Meetchu looked up, a new confidence filling his eyes.
"MARRY ME DAMNIT!" He yelled suddenly.
Lenille fell backwards off his stool in surprise and landed flat on his bum. He looked back at him with shock and confusion.
Meetchu had a stern look on his face and was holding a small box open in his outstretched palm. A small gold band with a bright, blood red ruby embedded into it was inside. Lenille got up slowly with a lump in his throat and tackled Meetchu with a hug. He held him close and didn't want to let go. Finally he pulled back and wiped the tears from his eyes.
"Meetchu there are a few things I'd like to say...One...DO NOT ever scare me like that again! And two...YES!" He pulled him into his arms again and kissed him fiercely.
"R-Really? Oh Thank you Lenille! I love you..." He cried.
They hugged eachother tight for a few moments and Lenille took his hand and led him off to get some rest.
