• I went straight home. I didn't wait for Ikuto this time, I just went home, took a shower, cooked dinner and did my homework. By the time Ikuto finally got home I was already lying down in bed. I heard running up the stairs and Ikuto burst through my door, looking mad. I still had the top light on in my room so I could see him clearly. He was ragged and out of breath. He obviously ran the whole way here. "What the hell is wrong with you? I was worried about you when I didn't find you waiting at the front gate. I looked all over the school before I finally decided to come home." I didn't say anything. Truthfully, I don't know why I didn't wait for him either. I got out of bed and stood infront of him, still close to the bed, so close I felt the matress on the back of my legs. I looked down and said "I'm sorry" He came toward me. I didn't know what he was going to do at first, but what he did do sent adrenaline all throughout my body. He came up to me and hugged me. He put his hand on the back of my head, through my hair, his other hand around my waist and arms. "Don't ever scare me like that again. Do you hear me? Not ever again." he said it in all a whisper. I put my hands up around his arms and laid my head down on his shoulder. We pulled apart just enough to be able to look at eachother. Ikuto looked into my eyes, and I looked into his eyes. Those beautiful brown eyes, that seemed to look into my soul, that seemed to see the things in me I didn't even see. He smiled and told me something I realized I had been waiting to hear scince the day we met "I love you" that was what it took for me to realize we really were soulmates. I felt the tears come out my eyes, but I smiled "I love you, too" I told him and I knew it was true. I shook my head and wiped away the tears with the back of my hand. "But there's something I need to tell you." I said. He nodded his head, "What is it?" he asked. I took a breath and broke free of his embrace. "Ikuto, I'm a goddess. Not any goddess, I'm the goddess of winter"
