• Stars.
I saw them all over. I was surrounded by stars, and it was nearly blinding. I gasped as the stars turns to ice, falling to the ground, ready to impale me.

I opened my eyes and looked at my eagerly watching friends.
"So, what did you see?!" That's Trinity, my bff. She's like me.
"Stars, light, ice, transformation." Trinity shrugged and Starre wrote it down. I sighed and rubbed my forehead. All these fortunes were hurting my head, and I needed to study, and I had to get ready for tomorrow's school play, and make sure I had all the costumes and-
"Relax," said Emma in a smooth, calming voice. "You need to relax, sister."
I shook my head. "I'm not your sister, you are me! You are a part of me, the way Samantha-Megan, Sadie, Banesidhe, Syren, and Raquel are."
I wasn't lying. I suppose it was a perk, proving people that while you were talking to yourself, strangers saw another you answer back. I looked at Sammy, who was rooting through my drawer again. "b***h!" She snarled at me. "You hid the ******** knives again!"
Sadie nodded mournfully at me, as always. "Brigid, just- just let her cut, just this once."
I ignored her, or rather I ignored myself.
Trinity and Starre looked up. "NO ********' CUTTIN!!" They yelled at once, sparks coming off their clothes. Ah, the life of teenage mutants with emotional issues. How... ******** up.
