• The pale moon cast a grim glow across the frozen square as the assailent quickly lept from roof to roof, unnoticed by the patrolling officers below. The smell of roses was strong as he silently climbed into her room through the balcony, left wide open as if awaiting him. There she sat, brushing her hair in front of the ornate mirror across the room.

Alucard licked his lips as he grew closer. She was just like the other girls he had slain; young, beautiful heart breakers. Even so, he felt his hand trembling as he held the blade. The other kills had been swift and pleasurable, but for some reason this girl girl left him with a strong feeling of unease. Maybe he was just rusty since he had gone almost two months without even touching a blade, or maybe there was something he was overlooking.

"I've been waiting for you to come after me," she said softly without turning around. "I knew it was you, Alucard. Every girl that has been murdered had some tie to you. I've been waiting for you to kill me since we met at the ball." Alucard's voice quivered with surprise, "If you knew... Why did you continue to see me?" She laughed softly, and turned to face him. "Isn't it obvious? Because I loved you. I still do."

Alucard stiffened and struck out with his blade. "I love you too Isabella," he cried as she collapsed; her throat slit and spraying his pristine suit with her warm blood.

"Alucard Skorm, aka 'Lover Scorn' Was one of the least known killer in history, however he was one of the most intriguing. In the town of Eden Pennsylvania, he wreeked havoc just over one hundred years ago. Within the period of six months he had destroyed seven buisnesses, killed 19, and wounded 23. Of the deceased, nine were young women he had been in relations with. The others were their families, and a detective. All twenty 23 injured were shop keepers and employees caught in the blasts. All of these crimes are severly punishible, yet Alucard was never penilized for any of them. My question for you, is why?

"One of you will be sent to Eden to investigate this rather strange incedent...." Dr. Strop trailed off as he looked towards the back of his class room, and noticed a certain student sleeping.... again. He pulled a small revolver loaded with blanks out of his desk drawer and checked to see if the chamber was full as the other students covered their ears. "Any student willing to take this assignment say 'Aye'", he said sternly before pointing the gun towards the ceiling, and pulling the trigger. The blast was met with a shrill scream from the now fully awake student. "Ah, Mr. Bordou, thank you for volenteering," he chuckled.

Nick looked up in a mixture of fear and confusion, "What professor?" Dr. Strop quickly turned his amused smirk into a dull frown. "Next time try staying awake for my lecture Mr. Bordou. I've already notified my friend Herr Schneider that a student will be coming to visit, so I'd start packing. I expect weekly reports via e-mail from Eden. Don't dissapoint me Mr. Bordou." Nick groaned as the other students laughed at him. 'This won't be good....'
