• Mason gripped the sides of the sink as hard as he could without denting it. Everyone's thoughts crashing into eachother inside of his brain. End please he thought but it was lost in the sea of other thoughts, not even heard. Mason felt his head was about ready to explode.

    Ivy

I stood in the girls bathroom, my head pressed against the cool mirror. The thoughts wouldn't go away. The pain was so bad, it took all my strength not to scream. Finally it ended as the 10th grade left the lunch room. I slumped against the sink, exausted. The warning bell sounded after a few minutes. I walked out of the girls bathroom as fast as I could not looking to make sure no one was walking past or coming in. Big mistake, in my haste while someone was walking by I crashed into whoever it was. The impact was enough to send me to the dirty school floor.
"Sorry" I said quickly looking over to the person I had knocked over. Mason sat there looking down, when he heard me speak his head snapped up.

"No it was my fault I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." He said standing. "Your Ivy right?" I nodded, I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks.

"Your Mason, right?" seriously that was all I could think of! the guy I have been crushing on forever finally notices me and that's what I say! Mason laughed and nodded, he offered me a hand. I took it without hesitation and he helped me up. The late bell sounded just then, Great I thought as some kids who were just hanging, ran to thier classes as if they actually cared. "We'd better get to class" I said turning to face the way to Mrs. V's classroom.

"Ivy" Mason said, hearing him say my name sent a chill of pleasure down my back. I turned back around. "Sorry for knocking you down" There was a hint of a smile in his voice.

I smiled and said "You can't take all the blame"

    Mason

When Ivy smiled, Mason felt his whole world shift as if it actaully made sense. When she spoke her voice sounded like music. She spoke softly saying "You can't take all the blame" and with that, she spun around in her black heels and started to walk to social studies. Boy did she know how to walk. Mason followed swiftly after her, not wanting to lose sight of her. Ivy pushed open the door to Mrs. V's room.

"The Mayan's were- Ahh Ivy and Mason nice of you to join us. Do you have late passes?" Mason and Ivy both shook thier heads. "Well then have a seat. "As I was saying. . ."
