• MY NEW STORY!!
    Jenny Escamilla

Once upon a time there was this girl named Violet, she was 8 years old. Her family was very poor, they had no money. Sometimes they had nothing to eat. Her mom’s name is Nataly. She doesn’t really know her family; her best friend’s name is Rebecca.
One day it was in the afternoon and violet’s dad had gone to work as usual. Nataly was worried because her husband hadn’t come to her house earlier to eat, she thought maybe he had to much work to do. During that afternoon he heard an ambulance she wondered what had happened. Later she got a phone call home,
“Good afternoon, may I please speak with Mr. Rodrigo’s wife, please, it’ an emergency.”
“This is her, who are you?”
“I’m calling to inform you that your husband had a car accident and unfortunately he died. I’m really sorry.”
    “It can’t be him!”
“Sorry to say this but it is true. If you want you could come and also if you think our going to handle seen him dead. Don’t worry we will pay for his funeral, all you have to do is say if you approve that…”
“This is a really hard decision for me. I don’t know if I will actually handle seen hi dead, but I will approve your offer.”
That day Nataly was very upset. “Now my only reason to live and try to do my best at everything I’ll do is for Violet,” she said to herself.
Nataly has never met Rebecca’s parents so then she asked her if they could meet them. Then violet asked Rebecca if it was ok and she said yes, so then they were going to go for dinner.
One day violet got home she saw her mom crying,
    “Why are you crying mom?”
    “It’s nothing, I can’t tell you now.”
    “Why?”
“It’s complicated for you, you are too little to understand, or...”
“Ok, but please don’t cry anymore.”
    “Ok, I promise.”
The next day they went to Rebecca’s house.
“Mom, where is my dad?” Rebecca asked her mom.
“He’s working, he might be late for dinner, sorry for that Violet and Nataly,” She said.
“It’s ok.” Nataly and Rebecca answered.
Nataly was amazed when he saw Rebecca’s entire house. Later Rebecca’s dad got home and she felt uncomfortable when she saw Rodrigo so she said,
“Um… I’m not feeling good I think I will prefer if we go home.”
    “But why?” asked Rebecca’s mom
“I’m just not feeling good ok. I think I rather go home and rest.”
“Can violet stay here please?” asked Rebecca.
    “I don’t know…” answered Nataly.
    “Please mom, can I stay?”
“Okay, but only if it’s ok with Rebecca’s mom, and if you promise me you’ll behave well,” she answered.
“Ok, I promise I will!” Violet said.
“It’s ok with me; by the way she could come and stay any other day you want!” Rebecca’s mom said.
Then Nataly just left. She had a sad, worried, and thoughtful face. When she got home she started crying.
    “I can’t believe he’s alive.”
“How could he do this to me?”
“I can’t believe that for a moment I felt good and happy because I saw him alive again!” “But how could he make me believe that he had died and then marry someone else?”
“How could he even marry someone else if we haven’t even divorce yet?”
All of these were questions that she would ask herself, but had no clue what her answers would be.
Apparently they had made an error with Rodrigo’s and the other guy’s identity. They might’ve thought that Rodrigo was the other guy and that the other guy was Rodrigo. So they ended up saying that Rodrigo was the one who supposedly had died. In that time Rebecca’s mom and dad didn’t know each other, the other guy on the car accident wasn’t Rebecca’s dad, her got married with Rodrigo later. But when Rodrigo and Rebecca’s mom got married her mom already had a daughter. Another reason why the people had messed up on their identity was because Rodrigo had lost his memory on the car accident so he didn’t remember or had a clue who he was and also what had happened, all he remembered was that he woke up in the hospital and with time he got in love with Rebecca’s mom, and that was were they first met. Since Rebecca’s dad didn’t see Nataly he doesn’t actually know anything about her yet.
So one day Nataly invited Rebecca and her dad for dinner because rebecca’s mom had gone to a business trip. While Rebecca and Violet were playing up stairs, Rodrigo and Nataly were talking.
“Since when did you get married?” Nataly asked Rodrigo.
“A year after I met my wife,” he answered.
    “Oh.”
“Yeah, and later I knew we were perfect for each other.”
    “Where did you meet her?”
“At a hospital when she used to work there.”
“Oh wow it sound like an interesting story!”
    “It is.”
“Do you mind telling me your story?”
“I will tell you my story only if you tell me yours.”
“Okay I will tell you mine too.”
“Why is acting like he doesn’t know me?” she asked herself.
