• Lying on Its bed, dreams flashing behind Its closed eyelids. Dreams of a red-headed boy grinning at It. Dreams of a bushy haired girl smiling at It.

It grinned back. They ran, and the child ran after. Laughter. Happiness. Joy. Things which It had never experienced often during its short lifespan.

Emerald eyes sparkled. The lush grass feeling excellent against Its bare feet. The wind brushed against Its face in a loving caress.

So, was this how happiness felt like? Was this how bliss felt like?

A shout brought It out of Its thoughts. The red head was waving at It. The child smiled, running over to the other two children.

Laughter echoed through the place once more. The three of them continued to run over the small hill. As they reached the top, they stopped and stared. Their expressions filled with awe.

Large. Magnificent. Beautiful. The castle that stood before them was ancient, but spectacular. Magical, even!

Laughter escaped It again. Never had It laughed so much. It ran towards the castle, wanting to explore the magnificent castles’ halls with Its new, and first, friends.

Its eyes glittered as the three ran. The stone walls came closer and closer, it’s massive gate open and inviting.

Enormous. That was the only word to describe the Entrance Halls. With excitement in their young faces, the children continued to look around. Never had they seen anything so amazing, so spectacular.

Steps. Knocks. Yells. It jumped up from the mattress. A dream. Tears flooded. Nothing but a dream. And now, It was away from the overwhelming happiness and back into the cold, harsh reality. Their friendship.. Nothing but lies.

    Lies, All Lies.
