• The women appeared to me, clearly, now. It was great Grandmoa Bertha.
    "Bertha?!" I gasped.
I looked around. We weren't in the hospital anymore, we were in a field.
"Does this look familiar?" Bertha calmly said, leading her arms in the ways of the wind.
"Kind of.." I looked around more.
"This will help then, look, it's you." She pointed at a little black haired girl, standing right next to me. The girl was wearing a black dress with a tiny white apron. She wore this so she look like her mother. What a mistake.
"Wait, this is the day I-"
"Shush! Watch." She hushed me and dragged me over by her.
I could my mother's voice in the distance, "Katlynn! Come home!"
The little girl's hair blew in her face. She kept running further into the field.
"Katlynn!" My mother's scream, closer now.
I shook my little head and kept running, tears pouring down my face, "She'll never lay her hands on my again!"
As I looked at little me running in the field, I saw the red mark on my arms. My mother and tore me around and slapped me around only because my mom's boyfriend, at the time, had told her to beat me.
This made me fill with anger.
"Now, now, Be calm." Bertha whispered, "Come."
We followed me, as I kept running, humming a song to myself.
Suddenly, I stopped. A little boy ghost appeared infront of little me.
"Who are you?" I squeeked to him, Stopping completley.
    "Run with me?" He asked.
I nodded and tried grabbing his hand. For most people, It wouldn't work, For me, it did. I knoew, He knew, We all knew.
"I'm already dead." Little me whispered.
The boy just started running, dragging me along. We both started laughing and playing.
"Katlynn!" My mom screamed aimlessly, Crying. This time, for real.
"I'd better get back to my mommy." I said, waving to the boy.
"See you tomorrow." He answered, disappearing.
My mother ran up to little me and hugged me, tight, "We're leaving," She whispered, "We're going to the city."
"What about my bunny?" I asked, innocently.
I had a toy bunny named Hello. He had two black buttons for eyes and he was made of a sack fiber.
"Yes, Hello is in the car. Let's go." She cried, whiping away her runny mascara.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    "Clear!" The doctor screamed.
I was back. Back in my body.
The shock went through me. I screamed and opened my eyes.
The news crew was at the foot of my bed, My mother on the right, runny mascara, The doctor on my left side staring down at me with wide open eyes. Everyone staring at me strangley.
"My baby!" My mom screeched in fake joy. She hugged me and looked at the camera, deviously smiling.
"Get off of me!" I pushed her away.
She looked at me with a frustrated face.
"Quit your fake emotions! You wouldn't care if I were dead or not!" I turned to the news people, "And you! Don't you have anything better to do, like a more important story!" I paused and looked at the doctor, "Why did you wake me up? I was at the happiest point of my life! Plus, I'm already dead! I can't be living! I held a ghost's hand when I was a child! The day my mother and I left that masacre of a house! An abusive boyfriend, my mom had, and they both hurt me! So, Just-... Just let me die." I layed back down and closed my eyes tight. I wanted everything to go away.
"Honey, what do you think your doing?" My mom mumbled to me.
"I'll tell you what I'm doing. I'm showing everyone the truth and you hate that. You want evryone to think your the most protective and caring mother in the world. Well, you know what, Your not. Your a smoking drunk! And a horrible mother!" I screamed, eyes still closed.
Everything was silent. Then, I heard multiple footsteps leaving the room, which, made me open my eyes all at once.
No one. No one at my sides, no one at the foot of the bed, no one in my head. Just myself.
"Thank you, Publicity." I held my stomach and closed my eyes as i sat up.
"Open your eyes, sleepy-head!" A boy's voice filled the room. An almost mature sounding, ruggid voice.
Slowly, I opened my eyes, It was him!
