• Part: 1
Hi again, Lily here. Mario and I haven’t been getting along very well and it’s driving me crazy. He really needs to control his anger. This event ruined everything, at least that’s what I thought at first. Here’s the story.

“Lily? Where’s my book?” Mario asked me while I was lying down.
“I don’t know. Where did you see it last?” I replied.
“I put it right here! Ugh. Did you take it?”
    “Which one was it?”
“Violets Are Blue by James Patterson,” he said, sounding irritated.
“Oh yeah. Sorry. I read it and put it on the book shelf,” I said, pointing over to the shelf.
His face started to turn red. He grunted and said, “Why did you do that! I like everything where I left it and you moving it just throws me off!”
    “Dude, it’s just a book!”
“Just a book!? Is your crystal necklace just a necklace!?” That just ticked me off! He knows how sentimental this necklace was. For gosh sakes, my mom gave it to me before she was kidnapped!
“No but this one is!” I took off the necklace Mario gave me and sat it on the table. I was just making a point. I really loved that necklace and he knew it. Somehow, he took it the wrong way.
“I guess this one is too!” he took the necklace that I gave him and threw it at me.
He started packing all of his stuff and that’s when I said, “Where are you going?” I was trying to hold back the tears.
    “I’m moving out!” He replied.
With tears in my eyes, I said, “Mario don‘t. Please!”
“No! I’m tired of you doing things just to piss me off!”
“I don’t do things to piss you off! I do them because I love you!” I couldn’t believe I just said that. It didn’t matter to Mario though. He had already made up his mind. He left right away.

A couple of days went by and I hadn’t seen any sign of Mario. He called me the evening he left and said that he still wanted to be with me and he just needed some space, but other than that nothing.
Later at school, (yes I still have to go to school even though I’m a state alchemist) I was walking down the hallway when I saw Mario out of the corner of my eye. What I saw made me burst into tears all over again. He was KISSING Katrina Halloway, the richest and snobbiest girl in Spanish class! I just stood there. I didn’t know what to do or say.
The bell rang and Mario saw me standing there. “Lily!” he yelled. I had already started running. It was horrible! My perfect world was crashing down! The guy of my dreams had become the guy of my nightmares!
Soon the hallways were empty. I was all alone. I sat curled up in a gap between the lockers and started sobbing. Just by chance, Mario glanced down at me while running. He immediately stopped and said, “Lily, I didn’t mean for you to see that…” That really ticked me off.
“Oh, so I wasn’t supposed to know that you had another girlfriend!?” I said as I jumped up.
    “No! She isn’t my girlfriend!”
“So what!? Were you just sucking her face to get venom out!?”
“No. Look, I’m sorry okay? I made a mistake…” He went to hug me, but I pushed away.
“What? So I’m just supposed to forgive you!? You didn’t forgive me for taking your book! Why should I forgive you for this!?”
    “Lily just listen to me!”
“No. I’m done listening. It’s over.” I whispered, “I have to get to class.” I pushed past him and ran.
