• Katrina sat on her bed, crying. She was used to crying at this point. Ever since Kyle left her, she had done nothing but cry. She laid back and thought back to that day, exactly one week ago.

"I just need some time to myself" He had said "I have plans, and I need to know some things. All I can say is... don't wait for me"

That was all she could remember. Amongst the emotions and tears she had forgotten all the rest. Well, she wouldn't wait. Katrina sat back up and grabbed a small pink ring box from her nightstand.

"I don't want to live without him."

Tears were streaming down her face as she opened the ring box and pulled out a small razor, probably one that used to be in a letter opener. She placed it to her left writs, and started to slice and dig, cutting into multiple veins. Her tears slowly stopped, and she sighed. She started wondering why it was taking so long, why she wasn't dead yet... That was so much blood. She decided then, in her final moments, that a suicide note was in order. She reached under her bed, pulling out a notebook that she only wrote in when she had life changing... now life ending moments. She turned the book to the last entry, and found a message with handwriting in Kyle's handwriting.

"I'm sorry, I love you. I needed to leave for a week and I couldn't tell you where. They always say that if you let someone go if its true love they will come back. Well, I just needed to force you to read this. I'm sorry I had to do it this way, but you'll remember this for the rest of your life. Open your bottom drawer, the one with the key that you never open."

Katrina was confused, the loss of blood was clouding her thoughts, and as she slid down to her drawer she fell off her bed and hit her knees. She fumbled with the lock and key that she never removed and opened the drawer. In it she saw a black ring box, with a small white strip of paper attached that said "Will you marry me."

Katrina heard her door open, heard Kyle's voice say her name softly and then again with panic. And she lost consciousness.
