• I felt his teeth nick my skin. I flinched. This was different. It felt wrong somehow. Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself. I’ll tell you my story from the beginning.

((I will have German words in here. So watch out!))

Elf Jahre vor ((11 years ago))

“Get under the bed and stay there till the police come. Look for the Black’s.” Mom said.
I got under the bed just like mom told me to. All I saw where the black cloak and my mother’s feet. I was scared. Mom had told me stories about a large coven that was the ultimate power.
“You shouldn’t have gotten married to that human. I’ll find you’re child. They child that should have been mine.” The man’s voice was full of anger.
I closed my eyes and heard my mother scream once. The sound was immediately cut off. Her body fell to the floor.
“I’ll find that child and KILL her.” The black cloak went away and I never saw it again.

Elf Jahre spatter ((11 years later))
    Lex’s Point of View

“Mein Name ist Lex.” I said. ((My name is Lex))
“Do you speak English dear?” the teacher asked me.
“Ich hasse Englisch sprechen” I said. ((I hate speaking English))
A boy stood up. “I can translate for her.” He said.
“Thank you, Edward.” The teacher said.
Edward turned to me. “Gibt es alles you' d mögen erklären uns über selbst?” He asked me. ((Is there anything you'd like to tell us about yourself?))
“Nr. Es sei denn diese Leute hören möchten über, wie ich meine Mutter aufpaßte, getötet zu erhalten.” I said to him. ((No. Unless these people want to hear about how I watched my mother get killed.))
The teacher stared at us. He nodded and looked at the teacher.
“There’s nothing that she wants to tell us about herself.” He told her.
“Erklären Sie ihr exactually, was ich sagte.” I said. ((Tell her exactually what i said.))
He sighed. “Wünschen Sie sie wirklich das wissend?” He asked me. ((Do you really want them knowing that?))
    “Ja.” I said. ((Yes))
“No. Unless these people want to hear about how I watched my mother get killed. Is what she really said.” He said.
Everyone went silent. The teacher had me sit next to Edward. We did the work that she gave us. I didn’t speak to him and he didn’t speak to me.
“Does anyone know what time the WW2 ended?” The teacher asked.
I raised my hand. “Zweite Weltkrieg beendete 1945.” I said.
“She said, World War two ended in 1945.” Edward translated.
“That’s correct. Lex, where you born in Germany?” The teacher asked.
“Nr. Ich war hier in Amerika geboren. Meine Eltern brachten mir Deutsches bei. I' VE, das es spricht, da ich sprechen könnte.” I said.
“No. I was born here in America. My parents taught me German. I've been speaking it since i could talk.” Edward translated again.
She left it alone after that. By the time lunch came around, Edward had already asked me to sit with him. His sisters were nice. So were his brothers. The only one that bothered me was the blonde one.
“So you’re name is Lex. That’s a beautiful name. You should come over to our house.” Rosalie said.
“Rose, she can’t. Caius is coming over remember?” Alice said.
“So, He can stay the hell away from her.” Rosalie hissed.
“I' m-Geldstrafe. Ich muss irgendwie ausgepackt erhalten. Möglicherweise folgendes Mal, Rosalie.” I said.
    Rosalie looked at me, confused.
“She said, I'm fine. I have to get unpacked anyway. Maybe next time, Rosalie.” Edward translated.
“Well, maybe next time then.” Rosalie said.
“What other languages do you speak, Lex?” Emmett asked me.
    “Japanese und Koreaner” I said.
Emmett looked at Edward. “Japanese and Korean.” Edward said.
“Wow, that’s cool. Dude you know more languages then her.” Emmett boosted.
“Was auch immer Sie sagen, Teddybär!” I said.

    Edward’s Point of View

She got up and left. I burst into laughter. She was funny and smelt wonderful.
“Edward what did she say to Emmett?” Alice asked.
    “Whatever you say, Teddy Bear!”
Alice, Rosalie, and Jasper started laughing. Emmett growled under his breathe. I laughed even harder.
