• When Jack opened his eyes, everything was new. He was surrounded by white walls and no windows. He tried to move but he was strapped to the bed with tight leather straps, ensuring him that he couldn't move. As he struggled to break free, alarms started to go off, making his head spin. Nurses in white rushed to him and put a mask over his troubled face. Jack falls into a nightmare that felt endless to him. He woke up 2 hours later in cold sweat with his family standing over him.

Jack notices that he is not where he was before. In this room, it is full of life and there are windows that reveal to him that it is only the afternoon. There is also light blue paint on the walls to replace the white. His family and girlfriend, Melissa, standing around him with a worried look on every single on of their faces. He reaches over to Melissa, noticing that the straps aren't there any more, giving her a don't-worry-I'm-fine hug and an it's-alright-I'm here kiss. She looks like she hasn't slept in days knowing that her fiancee hasn't woken up in days since his accident.

She steps away and he tries to get out of bed but he can't move his legs. He is terrified that they forgot about his leg strap when they took the straps off of his body. He wants to move them but he can't and that throws him into a fit, but before he does, the nurse, who isn't in white, comes over.

"I think Jack needs his rest today since he just woke up. I'm sorry but you have to leave now.", She had a reassuring look on her face, which calmed Jack to the point of not exploding with frustration. She walked them out and came back in. "Now this won't hurt a bit I promise you", He didn't sound so sure and then she pulled out a mask behind her and covered his mouth with it.

Jack woke up in a labratory and found that the surgeon had his back turned to him. He was facing the nurse that had covered Jack's face with that awful mask. He tried to move but he could only wiggle. His arms were back in the restraints and he wanted to get out.

He heard what the doctor was saying. It wasn't very easy, but he made out what he could. "Then we have to kill him . . . . . . . He doesn't seem dangerous but. . . . ", He and the nurse started to laugh evilly and it made Jack even more scared than he already was. Why would they do this to him. It didn't make sense and even more, Jack was puzzled by their expression. They didn't seem like the expressions his friends and everyone in his community had. They seemed foreign and he wanted to know why.
