• Three months ago I had everything I wanted. I had the best boyfriend you could think of. A boyfriend who did anything and everything for me, just so I wouldn't get upset. I guess you could call me spoiled. Everyone did what I wanted, at anytime I wanted. My parents bought me two cars. Fortunate for me I didn't seem too spoiled about this - both of my parents were divorced. I had twelve best friends. Though I didn't know it at the time eleven of them were just there for the money I had. One girl though, actually cared about me. Her name was Penny. With the almost perfect shade tan skin, long legs, and the long, lucious, chocolate brown hair, big saphire eyes you could probably call her beautiful. No one noticed though, because most of the time I was standing next to her.

    My name is Shareel (Sha-Reel). I have a skinny tan body, perfectly layered blonde hair, big blue eyes, and a face that any man would die for. My boyfriend, Dakota, was the captain of the football team and just perfect. His black hair was shaggy enough to almost fall into his eyes but not too long to prevent vision. He was an inch or two taller then me, and actually had a somewhat stylish fashion sense.

    Now I get angry pretty easily and Dakota knew that. One day that he missed my cheer practice was all it took to end our relationship. Just one day.

    FLASHBACK

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Dakota was in the parking lot at the end of practice. "Listen Shay-shay I'm sorry I missed your practice, I went out with the guys to get some pizza and completly lost track of time. I thought I had enough time to get back, but there was a 49ers game on..."
    The look on my face must have silenced him.
    "I put up with it when you missed two weeks ago, and when you were late yesterday, but late one more time Dakota and I swear..."
    "I promise I won't be late again Shay-shay," He said pausing to kiss me "you know that I love you and want to be there just as mich as you want me there-"
    "Yeah, bu-"
    "But nothing next time I'll be there"
    "DAKOTA!!! Let me talk"
    "Ok"
    "I'm tired of all this I'm sorry junk. I love you too, but I can't take you being late all the time"
    "What?!?! Are you breaking up with me?"
    "I don't really know..."
    "Shareel," That was the first time in a year I'd heard him say my real name, "you are not going to break up with me. I'm ordering you"
    "You can't tell me what to do"
    "I can tell you what I want you to do"
    "Dakota, you're not what I want."
    "You're what I want"
    "LISTEN TO ME"
    Dakota shut up. He could tell she was fuming.
    "I'M TIRED OF YOU TELLING ME YOU'RE SORRY OVER AND OVER AGAIN. IT'S OVER, OK? IT'S O-V-E-R, OVER."
    "Shareel- I- don't know what to say..."
    "Well you need to get out of my daddy's car, and walk home" I said with tears running down my face.
    "If this is what you want Shareel, then bye"
    "Bye"
    I knew then and still know now that dumping Dakota was NOT what I wanted. What I wanted to do was forget it and move on but my mind doesn't work that way. That night I cried until all the tears were gone. Then I called Penny and told what happened. She was very supportive and offered for me to sleepover at her house. I agreed.
    When I got there Penny gave me a look that said "Wow, she's actually upset. Never seen her cry before.". Penny had a brother who was recovering from suicide. His name was Johnny. Johnny was giving Penny and I a lecture on why they shouldn't commit suicide and stuff. That gave me an idea that kept my mind busy the whole time I was at her house.
    END OF FLASHBACK
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Now that I think about it, my pain is coming back. Maybe it's time for my plan to come into action.

    News Article The Next Day:

    Shareel Johnson was found dead last night in her bathroom with a gun, peice of paper, and a lot of blood. Her parents are not exactly sure why she commited suicide but her friend Penny Simm has a very good idea.

    "Three months ago Shareel was over at my house right after a very bad breakup. She was recovering from her heartbreak so I invited her over. My brother was recovering from a suicide attempt, he gave us a lecture on why not to do suicide. Afterwards I noticed she looked very thoughtful but I didn't say anything. I figured that she was just thinking about her breakup. I never assumed it was as bad as suicide."

    After doing a little research, we discovered whom it was she was depressed over. Dakota Jeremard had a few things to say:

    "She was upset about me being late to her cheer practice and dumped me. I have no clue what was running through her head, all I know is that Shareel was mad."

    The paper in her hand said, " I know you will all be disapointed with me but it's better this way. Dakota I'm sorry. Penny and Johnny I know I disapointed you the most and I'm sorry. Mom, Dad I love you"

    Sorry,

    Shareel.
