• The kings and queens slowly walked onto the cliff right outside the cavern. At the end of the cliff, was a small, rounded, platform with six wide ovals running around the edges. The ovals were actually spells placed there by the sorcerers many, many centuries ago, so that when meetings of the Great Ten were finished, each ruler could return to their own home. King Liawems and Queen Aramis- the rulers of the Kingdom of man- were the first to step forward. they walked onto there own little oval. The rest followed shortly after, walking to their respective ovals/portals. King Kur- leader of the souls of those damned to walk on this world for eternity- who was a spiritual entity, King Terium- King of the Dragons- who was a man with Dragon-like features such as scaly skin, wings, horns, and claws. Next came King Sheekm and Queen Keir- King and Queen of the Animal Kingdom, other than the mighty Dragon, who were human- followed by King Serium and Queen Mezlia- the Lord and Lady of the Elves, who were, of course, Elves- finally, there was King Rete- Lord of the Sky.
"I'm afraid this is where we part, my friends." Queen Ramuun- Queen of the Vampires, who was one herself- spoke with a warm smile. She produced a small purple orb from her belt, and with one pale hand, flung it into the air. The small orb flew directly toward the center of the platform. Just before it hit the ground, it stopped dead, in the air. Queen Ramuun uttered a simple incantation and the ovals began to glow. Slowly, each of the King and Queens began to fade, being transported to their own dominions. Queen Ramuun waited for a few moments, thinking about her new plan to save the world. She walked back to her cavern palace. As she passed through the rocky entrance, a small, pale, servant with a hunch back, walked up to his Queen.
"I trust the council went well, Milady?" He croaked in his frog like voice.
"That is none of your concern, Darrus. However, I will say that out of the many proposals, mine won the vote." She replied sternly, walking briskly.
"Oh? What was proposed?" he croaked again
"Just two other stupid ideas. I feel not like speaking of them at this very moment. But I would like to get a head start on my plan. Fetch our three spell casting friends the sorcerers."
"It shall be done, Milady," he spoke as he retreated to the M-Chambers.
The Queen continued on to her throne room and sat down on her grand, black, stone throne. Her guards stood on either side of her as she wrapped her translucent black cape around her body and small, dark purple dress. Ramuun waited for about ten minutes for her servant, Darrus arrived with the sorcerer and his two apprentices. The sorcerer was clad in velvet, blue robes with silver lining around them, while his apprentices wore plain, gray robes.
"You called for me, Your Majesty?" the sorcerer spoke, as he pulled himself and his apprentices to the ground for kneel.
"I did, Geramis. I need your assistance on a certain matter, but first..." Ramuun paused to look at her guards an Darrus. "Leave as. I have personal matters to attend to." Darrus and the guards left via a tunnel to the right. "Now then. About the end of the world. I need you to-"
Geramis interrupted Queen Ramuun. "Your Majesty, we have talked through this matter time and time again. The Doom Prophecy that you persistently rant about is a false one! The stars have spoken so."
"Geramis, open your eyes to THIS world, not the stars. The trees are dying, clouds are turning to ash, mountains are crumbling. Even the land is turning barren. My and your world is ending. I need your help for the sake of our people! Please! See reason." Queen Ramuun argued.
"Your Majesty, The stars do not lie. I will not act upon a silly fear."
"And I will not let my people die because of arrogance..." Queen Ramuun stood and produced a jagged bladed dagger from the back of her belt. With impossible speed, she shot across the room to the sorcerer. His apprentices were preparing a spell, but their master commanded them otherwise.
Ramuun held the dagger to Geramis's back and hissed in ear, "I beg you to comply, but if you won't help me, you no longer be a necessity, making you expendable. Now, I really don't want to kill you, but..." She dropped the dagger and let her jaw drop wide to reveal her large, white, fangs, slightly brushing his neck with them. "I might just have to."
Geramis gulped and nodded. "What do you want me to do?"
"I need you to make a few portals for us to pass through to another world, so that we may survive. How long will it take?"
"A month or so. I need to get supplies and find the right spells. Will that suffice, Your Majesty?"
"Absolutely." She released her grip and went back to her throne. She had won... For now
