• (they all make it to the Sensei’s home)
Leo: (breathing heavily) We made it.
Kai: (gasping for breath ) I can’t believe it.
James: I don’t even think I have enough energy to lift my arm.
    Lee: I could be worse.
Sensei: Alright not that you are all good and tired I want you all to walk to the backyard.
    (they walk to the backyard)
Lee: Ok what kind of training are we doing Sensei?
Sensei: Hold on I’m going to get to that in a minute.
Leo: Sensei I’m to tired to train.
Sensei: Good you all should be.
James: Why is that a good thing?
Sensei: I need you all to be extremely fatigued for this training.
Kai: Yeah I think were all tired.
Sensei: Alright now do you see how all of you are out breath? Well what if I told you I could change that.
(they all look at him with a blank expression on there face as they bend over and breath heavily)
Kai: How are you going to do that?
Sensei: Don’t speak just listen. Right now you are all weak from that run. That’s understandable most would be. But as you can see I’m not I don’t even show the slightest form of exhaustion. Who thinks they know why?
Leo: Because you’ve been doing this kind of stuff for years.
Sensei: (he laughs) No but good guess. Who else wants to guess?
Lee: How about you just tell us.
Sensei: I can show you better than I can tell you. ( he takes a step back and gets in a stance and the boys watch him and see the grass beneath his feet swirl and a white aura covers his body)
Leo: ( he yells surprised) Wow what is that!
( the grass suddenly stands straight up and rips from the ground as the Sensei’s aura grows)
    James: He’s glowing!
(the Sensei pulls his fist back and it begins to glow white with power as if the aura is being pulled into his fist he throws the punch with such force that the air around it travels straight forward with a slim beam of white energy and knocks down a tree a few feet away)
Lee: How did you do that?
Sensei: ( he laughs) I see that caught your attention.
    Lee: How?
Sensei: It’s called spirit energy. It’s the power of the spirit. It sometimes is considered the power of gods.
    Leo: The power of gods.
Sensei: This the power that I want to teach you today.
    Leo I’m ready to learn.
    Kai: Me too.
    James: Count me in.
Lee: You wont see me sit this one out.
Sensei: It’s gold that you boys are ready to learn. Now the reason I had you run here is because I wanted you all to be using your last amount of energy. This power normally is used when you are drained of all your natural strength. When people say they give it one hundred percent that’s not true they only gave fifty percent this power is the other fifty percent.
Lee: But you aren’t tired so how could you do it.
Sensei: That’s good that your paying attention. After you’ve mastered this power you can use it at will.
    Kai: So you’re a master.
Sensei: Not even close I’m still new to this power, but your fathers are masters of spirit energy.
    Leo: Dad.
Sensei: Yes your father’s my teachers are masters of this technique. I have only been practicing this technique for a year they mastered this art in a month. I believe that you boys can master it just like your fathers.
Lee: Do you really think so?
Sensei: With out a doubt in my mind, but there are some things I have to tell you. There are certain spirit energies that are given to certain people they are elementals.
Leo: You mean like fire, water, earth, and wind.
Sensei: That’s right Leo I see you don’t always fall asleep during my lectures.
Kai: (he laughs) No he just got lucky.
Sensei: But these elements are only given to five people I have the element wind. I believe the other three Leo, Kai, and James have.
    Lee: What about me.
Sensei: You’ve got a special power.
    Lee: What is it.
    Sensei: Darkness.
Lee: That’s not special that’s horrible.
Sensei: No its a great power it depends on how you use it.
