• Drip. Drip. Drip. How long has it been? It was hard to tell in this place. Time was everything and nothing.

Days turned into months in the blink of an eye, yet it seemed to take forever. Drip. That was getting annoying. It seemed that everytime i got my train of thought, it disrupted me. Of course, thats what they want. Drip.

My musings were once again cut short by that infernal noise. it was easy to ignore for the first 5 years, but now it was grating my nerves. Drip. The water hit me on my forehead, always in the same spot, repetitively. I wonder when they will finally call for me. They should be getting desperate soon. Drip.

Ok, time for a change. I allowed myself a small smirk as the water froze in the tap, actually cracking the pipe that was above me in the ceiling. Finally, that infernal dripping was gone. With the water out of the way, i let myself think. That was actually the only thing that was bothering me.

I paid no heed to the machines trying to pull my limbs apart while hundreds of heavy chains bound me from every angle, ensuring i wont move. I knew it was all for show. I was too valuable a prisoner to be killed. That didnt mean that they couldnt try their best to drive me insane.

Too bad it didnt work. The only thing that they succeeded in was making me hungry. I wonder if the guards will remember to feed me this month....well, speak of the devil. I turned my head as far as i could, which was auctually around 2 inches. I could just see out of the corner of my eye the door opening, and a soldior in red with the Blaze insignia on the chestplate.

"So....wheres the food?" I rasped, my voice weak from unuse. The guard grunted, his thoughts focusing on turning off the machines. " Not here. Master Inferno wishes you to join him for a.....chat." The guard said calmly, with no sounds of hate eminating from him.

He just gained a new notch of respect in my eyes. Although, I wouldnt blame him for hating me. I did kill off 3/4th of the entire Blaze Imperial Army. I grinned as the chains loosened, and i was slowly dropped to the floor. The chains then released me and went back into the wall. I slowly tried to stand up, and failed miserably.

The guard sighed, and came over to me. He looked down, and slowly stuck out his hand. I grabbed it and was hoisted up. "Arent you afraid ill kill you?" I asked, truly curious. The guard scoffed. " I know you wont. After all, Lord Inferno has something that you want back." I flinched, not expecting a guard to know my secret.

The guard laughed and started walking. I slowly walked after him, weighing my chances of escape. They did not seem good. I decided to just wait it out, and hopefully a chance would come later. We walked through all 10 levels of the dungeon, seeing as how i was put at the very bottom. Whatever silence i was expecting didnt happen. Every step was punctured by the screams of tortured souls, prisoners of war.

I gave a grimace for my brethren. When we finally reached the top, i was lead along a giant hall, filled with priceless portraits and sculptures, all depicting the power of the Blaze, of course. We stopped in front of two 100 foot tall gates, which slowly opened inward. The opening doors revealed a long chamber, with a man in his thirties sitting on a lush throne. On the marble floor of the chamber was the Blaze insignia, a flaming sword thrust towards the heavens. The man bellowed in a deep voice. " Its nice to see you again.....Tokiya, Prince of The Frost!"
