• Alice. A girl who suffered under a mental illness called "Daylight Hallucination Schizophrenia". It all started in her childhood, where often she would go to a place called 'Wonderland'. Wonderland indeed existed; it was real, but only in Alice's head, not visible to any others. The only one who had access to Wonderland was Alice. When Alice was little, Wonderland was a much happier place. Alice managed there quite well, but the thing was that Alice and Wonderland were the same. They were connected, both depending on each other. So as Alice grew up, as Alice changed, Wonderland would will so too.
As a child Alice was always seen smiling and happy, but things changed at the age of thirteen. An event that destroyed her inside completely.
It was a warm autumn night and everyone in the house were asleep, exept for Alice, who had trouble getting to sleep. So she wandered off into the woods, to Wonderland. Before she took off she lit a candle on her window, so that she would be able to find her way back from the woods. When Alice had left the house, a spark from the candle that she had lit fell upon the curtains in her bedroom. That spark became a flame, a flame that burned the whole room. Flames splashing everywhere. When Alice's parents realized that the house was on fire, it was already too late. The flames had spread too far. So when Alice was in Wonderland, drinking tea with Hatter and friends, her parents were burned to death.
In the morning Alice had returned, to find her house burned down to the ground and her parents dead. Alice was forcefully sent to live with her aunt; Besides her aunt, there was no one else that could take care of her. Alice lived there for 3 months, then another incident occurred
-After her parents died Alice was never the same anymore. In Wonderland there would be changes. Nothing was the same.-
One day the neighbours saw Alice outside at her aunt's house. She had a bloody kitchen knife clenched in her hand and her clothes tainted with blood. Within ten minutes, The police came and found her aunts head chopped off, laying there on the kitchen table. Alice pleaded them that it was the Red Queen's doing. Neither was she wrong, or right. The following day, Alice was commited into an insane asylum.
When Alice was sent in the asylum, she didn't show any emotions at all. She just lied down and fell as if she was in coma, even though she wasn't in one. Alice went away from here, and into Wonderland. In Wonderland however she found that everything was falling apart, Just as she was. Wonderland was being killed by the Red Queen. Everything was dying, no matter how hard Alice tried. When the last of her friends died, She fought. Alice fought her way into the Queen's lair. Finally she reached the Red Queen, and with no more emotion in her left, killed the Queen. Whatever was left of Wonderland began fading away into darkness.
It had been almost a year, when finally Alice had returned to her cell from Wonderland. No one seemed to notice she was gone. She started to cry for hours - hours that turned to days - days which turned to weeks.
-All that that Alice ever cherished and loved, was gone - dead and buried: her parents, the White Rabbit, Catepillar, Cheshire Cat and all others. Including Wonderland.-
After a few months, the piercing cry stopped. Alice was all cried out. No more tears to run down her face.
Alice had been in the insane asylum for over 6 years now. She was no longer considered dangerous to others, and was given more space. One day Alice was left to wander outside. It was on this day, the last event would occurr.
Somehow, she managed to escape from the asylum. She walked, and walked, until she saw a zoo. She walked in and for the first time after nearly 7 years, Alice spawned a smile on her face. Alice saw her friend the Cheshire Cat grinning to her from a tigers cage. She managed to get into the cage somehow. She approached Cheshire and with both arms she hugged him. The Cat spoke to Alice, "Come with me back to Wonderland - the Wonderland that it was, but this time. Forever." Alice smiled and a tear of happiness ran down her cheek. The next morning Alice's body was found in the tigers cage, in a puddle of her own blood. Her death spread into the news, many authors took her as inspiration, many re-writing her traumatizing life into children stories. A lot grew to forget the true story of Alice and Wonderland, only a few stick by it. But something that will never be forgotten from Alice that day, was the smile that poured upon her stained face.
