- Description: Anubis was associated with the mummification and protection of the dead for their journey into the afterlife. He was portrayed as a half human, half jackal, or in full jackal form. The jackal was associated with cemeteries in ancient Egypt, since it was a scavenger which threatened to uncover human bodies and eat their flesh. The distinctive black color of Anubis didn't have to do with the jackal but with the color of rotting flesh and the black soil of the Nile valley, symbolizing rebirth.

- While the Gift of the Gods head would've worked, it's been used to DEATH... no pun intended. XD I actually like this though I would've gone with a blue nose to match the photo better. The hair could've been blue as well. Still, 5/5 for you
