Putting the Plan in Action

The hideout was musty smelling and dark. Kakuzu was pissed off now that Pein told him he had to supply the light bulbs and other accessories. That, meant spending money, and that was the thing he hated to do. He cursed under his breath, calculating the cost in his head. Itachi, was in the Akastuki hospital, being tended to by Konan, and watched by Deidara, Sasori and Pein. Pein kept studying Sasori, looking for an answer as to why the other hideout burned down. Sasori’s hangover had already gone, but he still felt a bit sick to his stomach. He had told Pein he didn’t remember anything, and that was true. He didn’t remember anything, but things did kinda stand out. Like his hurting stomach or his extreme headache when he woke up. He had a hunch, but he couldn’t say anything till he was sure. Deidara watched Itachi hopefully. He felt so bad; knowing this might have been the effect of drinking. He would ask Itachi when he woke up, just to make sure. He rested his head on his hand, watching Itachi’s breathing with a worried face. Itachi had passed out again, the suspected pain being worse then he intended. But, he knew this would lead to a great reward, one he had been waiting for, for quite a long time. Konan finished, then made the men leave. She said Itachi needed his rest, and his space. Pein stayed quiet, leaving to go to his new room and unpack what he could save from the fire. Sasori and Deidara did the same, both remaining quiet. The day was ending, so there wasn’t much to do now. They would have to wait till the next morning.
The next morning- the dust was horrible. No one had been in here for years and the dust was ankle deep and clearly floating in the air. Sasori discovered he had terrible allergies and was confined to his bedroom, where it had already been cleaned out for him, by the workings of the clean freak, Konan. He laid in his bed, sniffling and blowing his nose in a tissue. Deidara was at Itachi’s bedside. He had been here all morning, just waiting for Itachi to wake up. Sasori, he found didn’t really care much to Itachi, and Deidara didn’t approve of that. It was like Sasori couldn’t see that people could change. It made him upset. He would stay with Itachi, even if Sasori didn’t. He couldn’t just leave his friend alone like that. He brushed the raven hair away from Itachi’s face, looking at the closed eyelids of his friend. He wondered what he was dreaming about, since Itachi’s fingers twitched he kept changing positions with his legs. A few slow hours and Itachi’s eyes flickered open. He saw Deidara beside him and he smiled weakly, doing the fake friendliness. He touched Deidara’s hand, making Deidara jump in surprise, then smile with thankfulness. “ Hey Itachi, un. How are you feeling?” he asked, touching the hand that was ontop of his own. Itachi smiled weakly “ Better, now that I know you’re with me…” he said. Deidara had a small blush, and he chuckled lightly. “ Glad your back in good humor, un.” He said smiling. Itachi looked around, working his plan. “ Where’s Sasori?” he asked innocently. Deidara frowned; looking pissed off, remembering the nerve of his lover. “Oh him? He’s in his room… he claims he has bad allergies, un…” he huffed. Itachi pretended to look saddened by this. “Oh…well, I hope he gets better…I was kinda hoping we could all spend time together…” he said. Deidara looked at Itachi sadly then smiled softly. “Its ok Itachi, we don’t need HIM with us…We can just spend time together without him…” he offered. Itachi inwardly smiled. Perfect. He looked at Deidara, like he was deciding if they should. “Are you sure? I mean, I wouldn’t want to cut Sasori out of it….” He said weakly. Deidara nodded, smiling “Don’t worry about it. We can have fun without him, un.” He said, his eyes twinkling like stars. He thought it would be nice to spend some time with Itachi alone, cause Sasori wouldn’t want to be there anyway. Itachi smiled softly, but on the inside his smile was an evil curl. He had Deidara right where he wanted him. Yes, they would have fun. Lots of fun…kukuku… He nodded at Deidara, smiling softly “Alright…we’ll go when I’m mostly healed. I’m very pain tolerant…” he said. Deidara nodded, smiling. “Ok. Not a problem, un!” he said, getting up. “I’m going to get going now. Be back in a few hours ok?” he said. Itachi nodded “ok…thank you for coming…” he said. Deidara found that sweet, Itachi thanking him. It occurred to him, that Itachi wasn’t bad at all anymore. What a relief right? It felt good that he didn’t have to keep his guard up all the time around Itachi. Danna was so wrong. He nodded, leaving and closing the door softly. Itachi watched for a few minutes, then smiled evilly to himself after he was sure Deidara was gone. He chuckled evilly, looking at his hand and tightening it into a fist. He was in control now, and it felt great. Now, all he had to do was get closer to Deidara, make him hate Sasori, kill Sasori, comfort him, then cha-ching! Deidara was his. This plan would take a few days, or months, or even years, but he would get it done as soon as he could. Deidara walked down the hall, skipping Sasori’s room on purpose. Sasori had become such a weakling it was surprising. Well, sure he was human now, but he at least thought he would be a bit stronger then this. He shook his head in pity, going to his own room and sitting on his bed. He kinda felt bad about thinking such things about Sasori. He did promise he would stay with him and protect him, but it felt like such a long time ago. He had to do something about this, and his thoughts weren’t something he would have thought before. He sighed sadly, getting up and leaving for Sasori’s room. There was something he had to say something he had to let out. If Sasori couldn’t except Itachi their friend, he would have to do this. Sasori felt a bit better, the tissues being his best friend right now. He sat up, leaning his back and head agents the wall. He breathed in, getting some clear air for once. He sighed contently, smiling softly to himself. He was planing on leaving his room, agents Konan’s orders, and see Deidara, and maybe go for a walk together. It would be nice, since there was so much drama in the hideout. There was a knock on his door, and he got up curiously. Unlocking the door with his chakra string, he called for who ever it was to come in. Deidara took a breath.
