TLLF: Chapter 6 part 4

One More Day


Sasori lay next to Deidara on their now joined bed. His week of healing was almost over, just one more day. It had surprised him that Pein didn’t separate them, maybe he had come to except that they loved each other. Maybe he was changing his ways. Either one it made Sasori’s head spin in wonder. He looked down at his healing body. It wasn’t as bad as before, it had healed quite nicely and he looked just fine besides a couple of purple marks on his chest. He then glanced over at the blonde, who was sleeping soundly beside him. He smiled. “ Deidara….” He said quietly, stroking the bang that covered Deidara’s face. Deidara’s body had healed too, now all that was left were a few scars. Nothing serious. Sasori sat up and slung his newly human legs over the side of the bed, wincing at the small shocks of pain. He decided to try to walk again, but before his feet touched the floor, the door opened. Walking in was Pein. He looked over at Sasori, a small shocked expression on his face. “ So…I see your teaching your self how to walk again. What a way to plan ahead.” He said. He then moved over to Sasori and put an arm around his shoulder’s lifting him up. Sasori was shocked for a moment, then smiled. He held onto Pein for support while Pein was helping him walk again. The pain ran up his leg, causing him to limp a bit. Pein kept helping him. Walking him around the room, so he would get used to the feeling. After a bit, Sasori was able to walk by himself. Although he still limped, he was able to walk around the room without holding onto anything. Pein smiled. “ Good job Sasori…your walking again. I trust you will be ready for missions next week?” he asked. Sasori looked over and smiled weakly. “Yeah, I think so.” He said, now leaning on the wall for support. Pein nodded, satisfied. “ Don’t over push yourself.” He said before leaving and closing the door behind him. Sasori looked over where Pein left. “ I wont…. Thank you..” he said with a small smile. He then walked over to the bed and sat on the edge, relieving his aching muscles. He looked over at the blonde and stroked the golden hair. “ I can walk again….” He said softly. The blonde opened his eyes a few minutes later and smiled when he saw Sasori standing beside him. He was surprised, he didn’t expect to see his Danna standing already, but then again he was almost healed. He smiled, sitting up.
“ Hey Sasori-Danna..” he said sweetly. “ I’m glad to see your up and moving again.” Sasori smiled. “Yeah…. I am too…. How are you feeling?” he asked. The blonde shrugged.
“ I’m doing fine so far, un. Just a bit of a head ache.” He responded, rubbing his head. Sasori smiled, giving Deidara a glass of medicine. “ Konan says to take this.” He said, handing the glass over to Deidara. Deidara eyed it. “ I don’t like medicine, un!” he complained, shoving it back into Sasori’s hands. Sasori rolled his eyes. “ Come on…it doesn’t taste that bad.” He said giving it back to Deidara. Deidara wined, turning his nose up at the purple liquid. “ Do I have to, un.” He complained. Sasori sighed and rolled his eyes in irritation. “ Your acting like such a kid.” He said. Deidara frowned. Even if he was, he didn’t like people saying he was acting like a kid. “ Fine, un.” He said as he took the glass. He looked at it for a second, then forced it down. Drinking it all. When he was done, Sasori took it from him. “ See? It wasn’t that bad.” He said. Deidara shuddered. “ Sure….not that bad.” He said, his nose still crinkled. Sasori chuckled and kissed Deidara’s nose. “ Silly kid.” He said with a smile. Deidara looked away, irritated. “ Don’t call me a kid, un.” He said with an edge of annoyance. Sasori shrugged, still smiling as he got up and walked around to his own side of the bed. He sat on it, moving his legs and getting used to the feeling of nerves though out his body. It was a tingling feeling. Deidara watched him for a moment. He liked this Sasori. It wasn’t like he didn’t like the last one, but this one seemed more soft, more fragile. Deidara knew he couldn’t hide behind Sasori anymore, now it was his turn to protect Sasori. He was prepared for it. Sasori felt Deidara’s eyes staring at him so he turned to look. “ Deidara?” he asked confused. Deidara shook his head then smiled at Sasori. “ Sorry about that. Just thinking, un.” He responded kindly and strongly. Sasori picked up the new strength in Deidara’s words. It puzzled him for a moment. Deidara seemed stronger, more confident. He tilted his head to the side. Why was Deidara have this new sense of protection? Sasori didn’t know. He decided to test it, he would act weak to see what type of reaction Deidara would give. He just wanted Deidara to come out of his shell. It seemed silly, him being the weaker one now and Deidara protecting him. He felt almost flattered then he found himself blushing. He turned away from Deidara, trying to hide it. Deidara watched Sasori blush then turn away. He smiled and moved over to Sasori and hugged him from behind. He hung onto Sasori, placing the red head on his chest. Now that Sasori was the younger one, Deidara would protect him from harm, just as Sasori used to do for him. Sasori gasped when he felt Deidara hug him, but he soon relaxed and leaned his head agents the blonde’s chest. He felt so safe, so protected in Deidara’s arms. He sighed, now relaxed. Deidara smiled and played with Sasori’s red hair. It felt good to be the stronger, older one. He pulled Sasori up on the bed and he leaned his back and head on the wall with Sasori lying on his chest. It all felt so right, so comforting, so peaceful. Just then, Itachi followed by Hidan entered the room. Sasori and Deidara looked over at them with shocked and scared expressions on their faces. Hidan looked surprised and Itachi forced a small smile. “ Hey there.” Itachi said closing the door. Hidan continued to stare shocked. He hadn’t expected to see Sasori and Deidara together. He had to admit it was just a bit weird. Sasori and Deidara scrambled off of each other and off the bed, both standing innocently. Itachi chuckled a bit. “ Hey guys…. Are we interrupting something?” he asked. Hidan was speechless. He pointed a finger at Deidara, then at Sasori. He seemed at a loss of words. Imagine that, the cussing b****d of the Akastuki not being able to find words to describe what he saw. Deidara and Sasori looked at each other then back Itachi and shook their heads. Hidan still had trouble finding words. “ You….and you ….are…” his eyes got big then he started laughing. Sasori and Deidara looked confused. Why was Hidan laughing? Hidan continued and he choked out a couple words. “ You guys f**k each other!!!” he laughed, holding his stomach. Itachi rolled his eyes at the obvious comment. Sasori blushed and wanted to hide behind Deidara in embarrassment. Deidara blushed too, but stood his ground. Sasori still felt kinda wary around Itachi, but that didn’t matter at this time. Hidan continued to laugh till Itachi got annoyed and smacked him on the back of the head. He turned to Deidara and Sasori. “Sorry, are we interrupting something?” he asked. Deidara and Sasori both shook their heads. “No, nothing at all.” Sasori said almost jumping off the bed. Once he stood up, he wished he hadn’t. His legs tingled uncontrollably and he held onto the bedpost to regain his balance. Hidan rubbed his head where Itachi had hit him, then walked forward, still grinning. “Me and Itachi just wanted to uh…..say get well soon, so um..” he stuttered. It was weird for him to be talking to two gay lovers, who were his friends. Deidara forced a smile. “Well uh…thanks guys.” He said, trying to get them to leave. Itachi caught the message and nodded, dragging Hidan out of the room. When they were gone the redhead and the blonde looked at each other. Sasori blushed. “ I guess, were not so good at hiding our love…are we Deidara.” He said, looking down. Deidara chuckled. “Yeah I guess…damn I thought it would be easier.” He admitted. They both sighed. Sasori then climbed into his side of the bed. “I’m kinda tired.” He said, finding Deidara’s hand under the sheets. Deidara smiled, then titled his head back agents the wall, resting it. Sasori closed his eyes, still blushing slightly. Within moments, he was asleep. Deidara followed soon after, drifting off to sleep.

yeah i know its kinda short...but im running out of ideas. if you want to help you can give me some ideas and i will mostlikely put them in the story
